Chapter 2: Friends?

"So... How old are you?" Gerard asked you. "I'm 7." You replied. "Cool. I'm 8." Gerard said. "And I'm 6!" Mikey yelled. You chuckled. "What grade are you in?" "I'm in 2nd." You replied to Gerards question. "Awh. No fair! Your in Gee's grade, not mine." Mikey said. "Well we can all still hang out at recess." Gerard said. A teacher came into the hall and saw you, Mikey, and Gerard. "Its time to go to class. Gerard can you please show ms. (L/N) too class." The teacher asked. "Yes Mrs. Landerson." Gerard said. "Okay Mikey come on. Lets get you too class." "Okay. Bye (Y/N)." Mikey yelled towards you and Gerard. "Bye Mikey!"

You and Gerard walked too class, but first you had to go through the middle school hall. It seemed a little weird because all the kids were much bigger than you. While you were walking you felt sort of scared. You started to tear up a bit. Gerard noticed and grabbed onto your hand. He held your hand the entire time you were walking through the hall, and you calmed down a bit. "Are you okay (Y/N)?" He asked still concerned about you. "Y-ya." I just got a little scared of the bigger kids." You replied. "Okay well... Here we are..." He said as you reached a stop. "Do you have class with me?" You asked hoping for a yes. "Ya. We learn everything exept for science in this class." He said with a bright smile. "Okay." You replied.

~~At Lunch~~

At lunch not many people there seemed to take a liking to you. They thought you were weird, and crazy. You noticed a hand waving you over, and tried to figure out who it was. "Hey (Y/N)! Over here!" Mikey yelled towards you. 'So that's who it was.'You thought to yourself. You walked over to the table with your lunch and sat down next to Mikey. "Why are you sitting here alone?" You asked him. He seemed really sweet so you would expect him to have a lot of friends. "I'm a little shy... So I can't make friends with the other kids." He said. "Oh. Well thats okay." You said smiling at him. A teacher came by once everyone was done eating. "Okay kids. Its time for recess!" The teacher said with fake interest. All the kids ran out a big door to go outside. Once you got outside Mikey started draging you towards a small tree that had lots of leaves preventing sun from blaring into your eyes. You noticed a familiar brown haired boy sitting under the tree as well. "Hey (Y/N)." He said scooting closer towards you and Mikey.

"I need you too take an oath."

"An oath towards what?"

"Friendship." The brothers said at the same time.

"Okay."

"Promise to never turn your backs on us. No matter what."

"I promise"

"Promise to never try to change us."

"I promise."

"And finally..."

"Promise that you'll always be our friend."

"I promise"
