Terotium

Chapter 2

Floating in one place far up in the air, Shadow adjusts occasionally to stay in her current position to watch the sunset. After the final shade of purple slide out of the sky she starts drifting away twisting and stretching around there was no rush in Shadow's movement, spending a few minutes flying in the darkness. She doesn't fear the creatures that come out in the night they were big but none were as big as her, speaking of other creatures a great snow owl came flying up on a drift of wind near by, Great Snow Owls can get as big as 35 feet this was young only 10 feet total,
Shadow gave several hoots and it gave one long screech before it turned in a long glide towards the right to hunt. A few moments later of flying by herself Shadow passed over cliffs where Griffins lived, one griffin scout zipped past screeching which caused the other to start too shadow just roared, breathed fire as she continued past them. Some more griffins jumped into the air to circle above their cliffs screaming and screeching, half an hour later when shadow had turned around and taking a different path back to where she started she saw cave lions roaming by she thought "strange I never see them out much at night they must have had a longer walk then usual." Soon she's back landing at the meadow where she had taken off from, she liked this one the most because it had a small creek in it where she could easily drink from, changing from dragon to human as she landed slightly running to make it less hard changing, walking then to an old dead tree she had carved out to a chest shadow pulls out her clothes she had been wearing earlier back on. Arriving home after a few moments walk she turns on her tv for background noise as she preps dinner, an hour later shadow settles in front of the tv with her prepped dinner. It's close to midnight when shadow turns off the tv before heading outside to her porch to look at the stars and moons. There's about 12 moons that rise and several smaller ones that are in the sky almost all the time. Sometimes all the moons are in the sky at once but that's only at the summer and winter solstices. On her porch Shadow could see at least three different galaxies gleaming with the light of a billion solar systems.
