you and finn shelby had been keeping things between you a secret for a while now. probably about 2 months. you don't know why he decided to keep it a secret, but you respected his decision and just went along with it. although nothing was really suspicious because you and finn had been best friends for a long long time and always were with each other since a young age. but tonight, you were going out with finns family for dinner.

'you ready darlin?' you were getting ready at the shelby house (yes, you had your own room there) and he came into your room and snaked his hand rounds your waist.

'nearly, i just need to put on my necklace'

'why don't you try my necklace' he said, winking. you turned around and he put his warm hand up against your throat and pinned you against the wall.
(yes i know😳😳😳)

you felt his warm breath against your cheek before he whispered something in your ear.
'i'm going to tell them tonight, they deserve to know that i'm dating the most gorgeous girl in the world.' you could feel his smirk against your ear and you got butterflies from that thought. and you thought finn shelby was innocent...

you and finn heard a voice calling from downstairs
'finn! y/n! hurry up we're leaving now' tommy yelled.
'coming tom' finn called back.

you and finn made your way downstairs and got into the car to go to the restaurant you were going to be eating at.

you arrived at the restaurant and the family had there own private room at the side of the premises. of course, you were sat next to finn. you had all ordered your drinks and food and arthur was clearly already drunk. suddenly, you felt the touch of a muscular hand on your inner thigh. you slightly gasp as he grabs your leg. the butterflies returned filling you with lust. he leaned over to your ear and muttered 'i'm going to tell them now love'

'lads, i need to tell you something' he stands up and all the attention is drawn to the youngest shelby brother.
'i've kept a secret from you boys, only because i was scared that you wouldnt accept it'
'finn lad, you coming out?' arthur shouted out laughing his head off, everyone laughing with him.
'oh sod off arthur. anyway, me and y/n are dating, and we have been for about 2 months now'
there was a short awkward silence.
but then all the boys started cheering and patting finn on the back. i guess they were proud of him because it was the first proper relationship he'd ever had. the best thing the massive grin on his face. he was so happy that his family accepted the fact that he was dating ,in his opinion, the best girl in the world.

for the rest of the night, the adorable smile didn't disappear off of finn's face and that made you feel so happy. because when finn's happy, you're happy.

the end of the night eventually came and you all decided it would be best to get home. everyone was at least tipsy so you all had to get taxis home. you and finn were the first ones home, probably because tommy was going home with arthur and no doubt arthur had started some sort of fight with everyone. finn had decided to take you to your room in the house and that night, you really did feel like the most special girl in the world.

'i love you y/n  y/l/n. i really do. i'm so glad we told my brothers.'

'i love you too finn shelby' you kissed him goodnight and he started to walk down the hall way towards his room.

'finn' you called his name
'yes'

'tommy and arthur probably won't be home for a while. come here love'

he ran up to you and grabbed your waist and kissed you, like it was the last time he was going to kiss you. you both started walking towards the bed, closing the door behind you. finn threw you on the bed and climbed on top of you. he was the best kisser ever. and this was one of the best nights of your life
