Sophitz: Guide to My Heart

One

So I decided to tell her today. I don't care of what she says I just need to tell her. Or else it's gonna eat me on the inside ad Keefe's gonna bug me about it go years. He already has been since I first met Sophie Foster, and brought her to our real world.

Biana stepped into my room just as I was heading towards the door.

"So, have ya told her yet? I mean Keefe's keeps telling me that your going to but I can't tell if he's lying or not. Too bad his classic line isn't 'an Empath can't lie' not 'you can't lie to an Empath.'"

"Yeah, he sure gets annoying sometimes. An no, to answer your question I'm just about to go tell her. And if you try to follow along with your Vanisher powers, then I swear I will tell Keefe you have a crush on him." I smirked as she blushed as she glared at me.

"Don't you dare! he already practically knows with being an Empath and all, but I'm not taking any chances. Now go!"

I sighed, and ran down stairs as outside to Leap to Havenfield.

"Sophie, I just really need to tell you something. It been something I've been trying to tell you almost as soon as I realized what I feel towards you." I kept practicing these lines over and over, then got caught by surprise when a voice asked me

"What is?" I turned to look at Sophie Foster, my first love, my first crush.

"Well, octant tell you here. Come with me." I walked towards her and grabbed her hand, my heart beating faster than usual.

"Well your leaving me in suspense. I need to tell Grady where I'm going though. Sandor, can you tell Grady I'm going on a walk with Fitz? I won't be too long, I promise!" se squeezed my hand, and watched her bodyguard leave with a huff.

"So, what I was going to tell you, is that even if you don't feel it, then I still want to tell you. Please just hear me out." I turned to look her in the eye, which was smiling mischievously.

"Soooo?"

"Well, here's three words: I. Love. You."
I looked her in the eye as I said it, and she smiled. I sighed with relief, and through my arms around her.

"Well, believe it or not, Fitz, I love you too. " I looked at her, blushing, her arms around my neck, and mine around her waist. I leaned my forehead against hers as our noses touched lightly.

Sophie pulled in closer, and she was still considerably shorter than me. She reached up on her tiptoes, and pressed her lips against mine. I kissed we back, glorying in the fact that she felt the same way I did, and I wouldn't be heartbroken today. My heart would heal.

She smiled against my lips, and we broke away for air. Then we both started laughing, and she kissed me again, this time on the cheek. We both still had our arms around each other and she buried her face in my chest. She was that short.
