Katsuki's POV:

"Mitsuki-nee...?"

An unfamiliar voice was heard from behind me and my mom instantly made a bad attempt at hiding me behind her.

"Shizuko..."

I glanced over at the person standing in the doorway. She looked a lot like my mom, but her hair was straight and ginger.

"You're alive..! The person behind you.. Is that your child, Mitsuki-nee..? No. She smells like an omega, but... she looks just like you.. I saw her and thought it was you, so I followed her here..."

She addressed my mom as an older sister, which could only mean one thing... She was a Fukisumi.

"So what if I'm an omega?! Do ya have a problem with tha—"

Shōto was quick to cover my mouth.

"Don't cause a commotion. We have someone we have to protect remember?" He whispered into my ear, making me relax a bit.

He was right. I couldn't risk any harm to our baby.

"Wait.. Is your Omega son pregnant..? At least he seems to have chosen great mate. I guess you are mates as he's not wearing a collar, Todoroki-kun?"

Shōto replied with a nod.

"Yes. He is my mate. If you have any intentions of hurting my mate or his mother, I will make sure to make you regret it. I have way more power than you do. Not only is the Todoroki family the second most powerful family in Japan, we are also allies with the Yaoyorozu family. Don't get in my way."

That was the second time I'd seen Shōto so frightening. I didn't realise until now how powerful my mate actually was. I'd only ever seen him as Shōto, not Todoroki Shōto-sama.

Shizuko lifted her hands up as a sight of her surrender.

"I know, I know. My hands are tied as long as you're in the picture. Also, I wouldn't dream of fighting my sister. Even though she gave birth to an omega, she is still my sister who I care about."

Mom looked at Shizuko with a pained expression.

"I'm sorry for having left you and Zenjirou all alone with our psychopaths for parents..."

Shizuko's gaze fell to the floor.

"Yeah. Zenjirou is caring for mother. Father died six years ago and mother is sick. Zenjirou sanity is destroyed because they made him the black sheep after you ran away."

Tears started running down mom's cheeks as she fell to her knees.

"It's all my fault.. but if I hadn't, my precious son wouldn't have been here, so I'm sorry for not regretting it.. I'm so sorry..!"

Shizuko sighed.

"As a mother myself, I understand, but I won't forgive you. I won't tell anyone about our encounter either as that would be a pain in the ass to deal with."
