A black feather falls onto the floor as a lean man with dusky eyes stood staring at her with a small falcon on his arm. "Who the hell are you?" Dawn answered nervously. "Hm.." The man stood silent as his falcon eyes turned berry red. "Darling..." The bird said. Dawn's eyes widened as she recognized the voice coming from the falcon. "Why do you disappear and never visit until now?" The falcon stared furiously at Dawn. "This isn't my home anymore," Dawn responded. "Not your home? Your father would be ashamed!" The falcon shrieked. Dawn clenched her fists angrily at her mother. "How did you know I was here?" Dawn asked. The bird cackled, "I brought you here somehow. This is destiny, my dear; you come home to Mama's arms again. But, of course, you brought him." Dawn felt the negative energy in the room. "Emilio, he ruined everything for you. You could've been here with me doing great things to make your father proud...but you stupid girl always defy me!" The falcon squealed. "If I were there now, I would punish you just like how you were as a kid, but this is the only way I will speak to you, foolish girl." The falcon said. "Again, why did you know I was coming, and who the hell is that?" Dawn said as she slowly tried grabbing for her scythe."Do not worry about my intentions in knowing how you got here, and this is destiny! This is my assistant Raelan." Dawn swung her scythe as Raelan dodge and grabbed her by the hair, "You think he isn't capable of fighting against you? How naive you are. Every person who ordered by me is the strongest of the kind I desire." The falcon said. Dawn felt pain in her scalp. "If you weren't my daughter, I would let him rip off your head, but since I love you so, think of it as your punishment for running away with that idiot boy." Raelan lets go of Dawn. Dawn's door burst open with Unmei's kick. "I know the smell of a dumbass when I see one." Unmei gazed at Raelan as he smirked, "Ah, Unmei, the dickhead who took my fang." Raelan furiously said. "I placed it on my wall as a remembrance of how dumb you were." Unmei said, "Oh, times have changed, my dear friend." Raelan replies, "Great, I want that Skeleton Spear of yours; seems fun for my collection." Unmei said as he takes out his blades. The falcon flies onto the opened window as Raelan and Unmei began to brawl. "Seems like you still like to manipulate bullshit again," Unmei said as he slashed Raelan arm, "Oh, you mean the one that caused your scar?" Raelan punched Unmei in the gut. "Agh!" Unmei let out a small shriek from where his scar was. "Oh? Still hasn't healed? Lovely." Raelan said. An arrow shoots past Raelan shoulder as Alwen, Cedric, Emilio and Maia appeared. "Raelan return home immediately." The falcon said as it flew out the window. "Raelan... you stupid fuck." Unmei murmured as Raelan smirked and vanished. The room was silent for a moment as Maia walked into to observed the room for anything else. "What the hell happened in here?" Alwen asked. Dawn stood silent as Emilio walked up to her and stared at her deadly. "What happened." He wondered; she sighed as she told everyone the events that occurred. "Why is your mom stalking you?" Alwen asked; Cedric rolled his eyes, "What she means to say is, how did she know we were here?" He said. Dawn shrugged, "I don't know." she answered, "Bullshit!" Emilio slammed his arm on the wall angrily. "You are telling me, this woman, after so many years, is just going to decide to know when her daughter is here. For fuck sakes." Emilio left the room angrily. Cedric grabbed Unmei by the shoulder, which is sitting down on the ground. "Seems like they punch you in that gut, huh?" He laughed gently. Unmei stared annoyed at Cedric, "That's okay; let's go get that healed again." Cedric leaves with Unmei as the girls remained in the room."Dawn, explain." Maia sternly said. Dawn looked ashamed and shooked her head, "My mom wanted me to be something that goes against what we fight for." Dawn said, "What's that?" Alwen asked. "She wanted me to go and follow the path in dark magic as a child, though I accidentally walked in her session praying to a demon that my father treasured for power Baphomet. My mother thought maybe I could be in with her since I was her child. But, I was scared, yet she was my mom, but she didn't look like it with that green eyes of hers that were possessed. She grabbed me to purify me into dark magic, but Emilio appeared as she went to do it. Emilio struck her with a wooden katana before she was going to devour me. She was in pain, and during that time, Emilio grabbed my hand and ran far away from my home and village and into Yaku." Dawn began to cry slightly as Maia patted her head. "Thank you. I understand. You did the right thing. But, no more hiding secrets were friends, aren't we?" Maia smiled as Alwen did as well. Dawn wiped her tears and smiled gently, "Yes, we are! Thank you!" she bowed to Maia, but Maia stopped her. "No need to thank me, the person you hurt the most in this situation wasn't me. It was the one who saved you," Maia answered sternly. Dawn nodded as she walked towards the door entrance, "I will find Emilio." Dawn said as Maia and Alwen nodded.Dawn left the room. "Hey Maia, I have a secret I want to tell too," Alwen said, looking disappointed. "What's wrong, Alwen?" Maia asked. "Well, you know how you said we couldn't have any pets? Well, I FOUND THIS MOUSE, OKAY, AND I THINK IT'S CUTE!" Alwen shouted as she pulls out a fat white mouse. "His name Binky and I think you'll like him!" Alwen shows off the mouse to Maia; the mouse began to squeak. "Bink, Bink!" Alwen cuddles the mouse as Maia rolled her eyes and sighed. "Can we keep, it Maia, huh?" Alwen puppy-eyed Maia as she facepalmed. "Fine, but keep it far away from me," Maia answered. "Yay, Binky! You can stay; let's go make you a mini hat!" Alwen left the room as Maia pondered. "I hope they work it out." She sighed gently as she looked out the window. The skies were darkening as the pin inside her chest, glowed faintly.Dawn huffed up towards a river where Emilio would be. She panted as Emilio turned around to see her. "I knew you would be here. We always played here," Dawn said, smiling. Emilio turned around and ignored her. "Emilio..." Dawn clenched her fists. "I'm sorry okay, I'm sorry for not telling you about the letters and not telling you what's been going on. I, I sometimes miss my mother, and I can't help but feel sorry that she became this way." Dawn said. "She was going to fucking eat you, and you feel sorry? Jesus fucking christ, listen to yourself! I stabbed her, but I got her hurt, but it wasn't just a cut; it was the curse, and I live with now. But you don't get that!" Emilio angrily said. "See this, Dawn! This isn't something to feel sorry for!" Emilio pointed out where his Yaku mark was. "I am cursed and always be, and the only way for me to be normal is always to be purified by the Seeker and Goro; every time I leave you guys in the tavern and come back, it wasn't because of a chore. It was because I was getting healed for being cursed by a demon. But you don't get that because you seem to forget I fought to save you! I could've left you, but I didn't!" Emilio grabbed Dawn the collar and let go after a while. Dawn's eyes widened, and she felt ashamed. "I'm sorry, Emilio, I didn't understand what was happening until now; I didn't see your pain because you never tell me. I'm sorry, Emilio, I am." Dawn dropped down to her knees and began to cry. Emilio looked at Dawn crying and saw Dawn from when she was a child. "My name is Dawn. What's yours?" Dawn asked as Emilio began to cry. "Oh!" Dawn looked frightened. "It's okay, Dawn Emilio is just shy; he will lighten up eventually if he knows you more." Dawn clenched his hand onto him, "Mama does this when I'm sad. Are you fine now?" The flashback of Dawn's first meeting with Emilio swept through his mind. Emilio walked up to Dawn and wiped away her tears gently, and he then kissed her as a gentle cold breeze swept through them into the night. "I'm sorry, Dawn..." Emilio said in his mind as Dawn closed her eyes and kissed Emilio back. In Dawn's mind, she remembered the times when they played together as kids, "Ah, they're getting along well." Dawn's mother laughed gently. "Indeed." the old women said as they watched the children play.
