The sign is gone?

"Get her puppy!"

I'm awoken to the dog aggressively licking my face until I finally sit up. I honestly don't care what time it is. Any time is to early for me. I reluctantly get out of bed and get dressed. Thankfully it's a Saturday so I don't need to do any school work. I walk into the living room and check to see if the "For Sale" sign is still in my neighbors front yard. Well, used to be neighbors yard. You see, ever since I first moved in five years ago this old man lived next door. He was this sweet old gay dude that could brighten your day just by looking at you. He gave me the confidence to come out to my parents. Then he had a heart attack and wanted to move away before he passed. We  were all heart broken, but I hated being alone so I was just waiting for new neighbors. Every day for three months now the sign has just been sitting there, but today was different. It was gone, and replaced with a U-haul outside.

My heart fluttered with excitement. I ran into the bathroom and did my makeup. I made sure it was perfect, then fixed my hair. I had to look good, first impressions are everything. I made sure I was wearing the most laid back goth bimbo look. I had finished putting my knee high platform boots over my fishnets when I hear a girl giggling. "Oh my god if that's who's moving in..." I thought to myself as I grabbed my phone and ran out the front door. I decided to look like I wasn't peeping so I filmed a tik tok. Best solution if you ask me. I set up my phone and got ready to record. About fifteen minuets passed before I got a good enough video to post. That's  when I felt eyes on me. I looked into my front window but nobody was there. I reluctantly turned to the side to see a clearly masculine girl just..watching me. I could feel my face heat up. I smiled and asked "So, how long have you been watching me?" She giggled back before speaking. That's the same giggle from before I realized. " About five minuets. You really struggled with timing huh?" She hummed back at me. "Uh, yeah. You would think a person who takes vocal lessons would get the cues right." I sighed and rolled my eyes knowing that I suck with that. "Oh you sing. What type of music do you listen to?" She said back to me. "Like artists?" I questioned. "Sure!" She happily replied. "Uhm, Mother Mother, Girl in Red, Icp, Msi.." I listed off hoping she would get the "Girl in Red" reference. "Oh a singer AND a gay girl? Whats the catch?" she said while tilting her head slightly to the side. "Uh..I'm clingy?" I laughed back to the silly question. We talked for a while before I thought to ask a question. "Hey, did you know your back door faces my bedroom window?" I said while making a confused face. "That's your window? Should I put a latter under there?" she replied. "So I could sneak out and bother you? Sure." We both laughed for a second before she perked up "Hey, climb out tonight at one am. I want to show you something." She sang. My face turned three shades of red.

"Sure!" Was the only this I could say back. Before I knew it she was back inside.
