Friday night before Yuqi coming over for the weekend, Lucas sat alone in the terrace cafe overlooking the beautiful sparkly garden, enjoying his solitary dinner after Mark and his teammates left for home.

'They probably throwing a drinking party right now...' Lucas thought as he munched his lime grilled salmon. He sighed and looked around the terrace cafe. One table away from him sat a group of giggling girls around his age while several tables next to them sat a family of two children and a young couple who spoke shyly to each other, probably a newlywed. Lucas sighed again, looking at the shy couple made him miss Yuqi. Its been two weeks since they—

His train of thought interrupted when he heard one of the giggling girls said in a rather loud tone, "Yah! You go ask him to join us!"

"No you go," said the other girl.

Lucas smirked into his drink and concentrated back on his meal, ignoring the giggles and curious glances they threw at him but as soon as he shoveled another bite of salmon into his mouth, his phone vibrated, text messages from Yuqi, informing she would be late. Instead of replying to her text, he decided to give her a call.

"Why? Are you lonely?" She greeted him cheerfully.

"Yeah..." He mused in a somber tone. She chuckled. "Where are you? Why so noisy in the back?" He furrowed his eyebrows when the loud chatter mingles with background music wafted into his ear.

"Oh, I'm at a BBQ restaurant near the workshop with Na Eun and other girls..." She explained amidst the commotion.

Lucas nodded, then realizing she couldn't see him, he added, "Girls night out?"

"Well, originally just the three of us but we ran into Jaehyun Oppa and his friends here, so we kinda join them—"

"You what???" his smile faltered at the mention of Jaehyun name. "Why? How can you be so careless?" he blurted out, feeling irritated, not liking the reminder about that cursed audio.

"Careless? About what?" she muttered in a confused tone.

Lucas heaved a deep sigh to calm his nerves. "Nevermind. Just go straight home once you finished eating. Do not go anywhere or drink any alcohol with those guys..."

"But why?"

"Just...please do as I say...for now.." He pleaded.

She muttered something under her breath. "I don't get it but— tut tut tut tut..." The line went dead before he could manage to convince her.

What great timing!

"Damn it..." Lucas cursed and hit the steering wheel after dialing Yuqi number for the nth times. Just like five minutes ago, the call went straight into a voicemail.

He had been on the road for about an hour. She should be home by now but why did her phone still out of service? Just where the hell is she? What if she got drunk and those bastards took advantage of her—

Lucas shook that thought away. No...No... Xuxi, let's think of something positive! There's no way Jaehyun would stoop that low. He compelled himself. ...But hey you know nothing about his friends... added the small voice in the back of his mind. He groaned miserably at his thoughts.
