He took off his glasses and stared directly back at my eyes as he walked straight in my direction.

I couldn't see his face clearly as his white mask was covering half of his face.

I don't know what these six dorks are up to, but I could feel their movements, trying to give me some space.

The time runs normal, and even the people that are walking behind him. They move naturally, but I could see him in slow motion. I feel like I was back in my teenage years.

He didn't stop and just continued his way to me. He didn't even give a glance to the people beside me. My vision started to get blurry as my eyes get started to fill with tears.

I tried to hold back my tears, but it only got worse! I don't know what to say as he's getting close. Seriously, since when did I become dramatic—fuck!

I failed and just let the tears fall from my eyes. I couldn't move my body, but I can feel my legs fighting to hold their strength.

My chin was rested on his shoulder, his arms around me, holding me tight. It's been a year. I never felt this warm feeling in a year. I missed him so much.

"Taehyung-ah" I still managed to say his name, and my tears kept falling, so I didn't bother wiping them off of my face.

"Taehyung? not Taetae?" he asked while pulling me closer to him and tightened his embrace. I can't see his face, but with his tone, there's a pout on his face while he said that.

He rested his cheek on my shoulder, facing the side of my face with his nose touching my neck and arms around my waist, "I missed you."

"I missed everything about you. I missed us." I placed a hand on his hair and brushing it while caressing his back with my other hand.

I heard someone let out fake coughs, so we let go of each other's embrace. Taehyung quickly wiped my tears and faced the six boys with his arms wide open.

Everyone then ran to Taehyung, filling his open arms. The scene in front of me is just so warm and full of happiness. They always have each other's back, and now they will never be apart.

Jeongguk and Hoseok helped in placing Taehyung's things at the back of the van while the others are already inside. Yoongi at the driver's seat since Seokjin did the driving earlier.

I was supposed to sit at the passenger seat to give the boys space to rest, especially Taehyung, but he wanted me to sit beside him. Others also insisted so that's what happened.

We have our spot or seats in the van, and mine was always beside the window. I was watching the skies as the sun started to set, another night with darkness while waiting for the others.

I heard the door opened, so I switched my gaze to that side. I was welcomed with Taehyung's face and saw him taking off his mask. I smiled at him and felt his hand intertwining with mine.

I also noticed his hair became curly and longer than the last time I saw him. That was a month ago, the last time we had our video call.

"I like your hair" I can still remember how he always has his boxy smile every time he received a compliment. And seeing it again this close, I couldn't turn this into a nightmare.

"You should take a rest. Your place is far from here, so you have the time." I whispered. He just hummed and didn't respond after, so I assumed he already fell asleep. He must be so tired from his flight.

I tried to maintain my balance and careful not to make any sudden movements so he could sleep comfortably.

I slowly reached for his face, gently touching them with my palm, and at the same time, my thumb was rubbing his hand softly with my other hand.

Seeing his face this close after a year, not knowing what he'd been through, a tear escaped from my eye.

Not from afar, a gaze is visible from the rear-view mirror. It didn't last long, and Yoongi focused back his eyes on the road.

I silently let my tears fall without anyone noticing it. Even if they did, they would just let me have my moment with Taehyung.

I'm sorry. Those words that I wanted to say not only to Taehyung but to everyone in this van. The people that saved my life will be no longer by my side.

As I continue to brush his hair, Yoongi stopped the car. We already reached Namjun's house. Jeongguk's and Jimin's are still far from here, but since they already planned this, they decided to have a night in Namjun's house. I guess they already calculated the time for today, always prepared.

"Hyung," Jeongguk called. I looked back when I felt Namjun glancing at me before closing the door of the van. Jeongguk also did glance at me and waved his hand to us, giving his goodbye.

Seokjin waved back at the passenger seat, and so did Hoseok at the back. I just gave him a bow as my goodbye.

Time passed, and we reached Taehyung's apartment. There are only the three of us left after sending Seokjin and Hoseok to their place. I gently woke Taehyung up, greeted me with his tired eyes. I giggled and slightly pinched his cheek.

He closed his eyes back and opened them with a smile on his face. I smiled back as I fixed his hair with my hand. Yoongi went outside to help in getting the younger's things at the back of the car.

He turned his head on the window and saw his apartment outside. With our hands intertwined, I placed my other hand above his as I called his name, "Taehyung-ah,"

He also placed his other hand on top of mine when he faced me. I gave him the same smile when this relationship started. The smile I thought would never last, I greeted, "Welcome home, my Taetae."
