I looked around the room and smiled at the orange cast, I never knew I liked the color orange so much.
I'm pretty sure the room wasn't orange before, right? Where is it even coming from?
Will it still be orange if I let go of the spiral?
As I loosened my hand, I noticed iridescent, orange, twinkling lights were on the ceiling.
"Wow," I murmured to myself.
The lights shined like a diamond, fading away then reappearing even brighter. Suddenly the lights made their own sounds, like piano notes. Each twinkle played its own note, and soon it sounded like a song.
I laid back on the bed and stared at the ceiling, enjoying the warmth of the orange light.
The lights swirled around the ceiling, forming a circle. I watched the light show like a child at the theater. Then I noticed the lights were forming something in the center of the circle. It looked like a black hole. I was nervous, but something inside of me wouldn't let me be afraid. I blinked a few times, trying to look at what was in front of me.
Then it became a clear image.
I was looking at the tops of green and blue trees I had never seen. The trees had their own twinkling lights on them, and I even saw people sitting in the trees with thick locs swinging from their heads.
"Where is that?" I asked, "What is that?"
My eyes became heavy, and I closed them, comfortably falling asleep.
"Please, Lucie," I heard Nova say, "Please wake up."
