"Guys, I've got breakfast," Mike announces as he walks down the stairs.

"Eddie, sweetheart. Breakfast time," I whisper to Eddie.

He mumbles something and then falls back to sleep.

"Come on munchkin, you have to eat something."

"I'm not hungry" he sighs.

"Sweetheart, you have to eat something. You haven't eaten in days" I say to him.

He continues to sleep so I pick him up and sit him on my lap. He lays his head on my shoulder and wraps his arms around my neck. I tickle his sides and he lets out a small giggle. I continue tickling him and he begins laughing.

"Richie, stop I'm going to piss myself," he says, hardly able to breathe.

I lay him back on the ground and lie ontop of him. I begin to kiss him and everyone looks at us.

"Get a room you two," Bill laughs out.

I climb off of him and stand up, picking him up as well. I carry him over to Mike and he hands me two eggos.

"Come on, baby. It's nothing to major, you really need to eat," I say to him, sitting on the sofa next to the door.

He takes it out of my hand and begins eating it slowly.

"You don't have to eat it all, just small bites, okay?"

He looks at me with a sad expression on his face but still eats it. Bill and Stan walk towards us and I notice they're holding hands. Eddie notices too and he starts to smile. Their hands part as they sit next to us on the sofa.

"You guys are so adorable," Bill says to us with a smile.

Eddie buries his face in my neck and I feel a smile start to form on his face. As Stan rests his head on Bills shoulder, Bill begins to blush.

"Y'know, you guys would make a cute couple," I say to them with a laugh.

They quickly separate from each other, embaressment written all over their faces. Eddie lets out a small giggle and picks up his head. He looks at Bill and laughs again.

"What are you laughing at?" Bill asks, confused.

"You look like a tomato," he laughs again.

"W-what? I do not!" Bill shouts defensivley.

"Yes you do, you both do," Beverly says as she sits on the sofa next to us.

"Honestly though, you guys are basically already dating. I mean you've kissed before when we were playing seven minutes in heaven. You two have chemistry," Eddie says as he buries his head in my neck again.

Bill and Stan look at each other and continue blushing.

"You two look like a bunch of middle schoolers," I laugh.

Mikes friends come walking down the stairs and look at us. Lucas looks at Eddie, still terrified to come near him. He walks over to Mike and whispers something in his ear.

"He won't hurt you" Mike whispers, trying to be quiet.

I pick up Eddie and he straddles his legs around my waist. I walk up to Lucas and he steps back.

"He's a good kid. Whatever happened last night, don't worry about him. He won't hurt you," I reasure him.

He nods his head and I rock Eddie back and forth.

"Do you want to come to the arcade with us today?" Mike asks.

"Sure, I love arcades!" I say, excited.

We all finish eating breakfast and get ready to go. As we're walking out the door Mike says, "can we stop by at Wills first? I just want to check again, see if he's home now."

"Wills mom would've told us if he was home, Mike," Lucas says.

"I just want to make sure," Lucas rolls his eyes and we ride our bikes to Wills house.

When we get there, they park their bikes against his house and begin looking around.

"Will! Where are you?" Mike screams into the forest behind Wills house.

All of a sudden, we hear ambulances and police officers coming our way.

"Will," Mike whispers.

He hops on his bike as fast as he can and we all rush to get on the bikes as well. We start following the cars and they lead us to a big open lake. We see a couple officers pulling something out of the water. We look closely and see a person on a stretcher.

"That's impossible, it can't be him," Mike says.

As the oficers get to the shore, Mike realises it's Will.

"B-but, h-h-he didn't deserve this. He can't be gone!"

Tears begin to roll down everyones face as we watch Will get put into the ambulance. Mike gets on his bike and starts to ride away.

"Mike, you can't just leave!" Lucas shouts after him.

We all get back on the bikes and follow Mike. Tears flow out of my eyes as I watch this site happen. I couldn't imagine losing any of my friends. The sorrow that comes with that, it must feel awful. Mike gets to his house and throws his bike towards the ground and runs inside. We all halt to a stop and sit in his driveway.

"I can't believe he's gone," Dustin says, tears rushing out of his eyes and onto his cheeks.

"He can't be, that can't be Will. He's still alive out there," Lucas says, in disbalief of his friend being gone.

"I'm so sorry," I say to Dustin and Lucas.

"Don't be sorry, he's not gone. That can't be him!" Lucas screams.

"His body was found in the water, Lucas! He's gone, our friend is gone!"

Lucas rushes off on his bike and Dustin does the same. The rest of us walk back to the RV so we don't have to disturb Mike. We slowly sit down in the seats, without speaking. There's too much pain in the air, none of us can seem to get a word out. We sit there in silence for hours on end. As the sun goes down we still haven't spoken a word until a knock comes at the RV door. I get up to open it and see Mike standing outside, tears still sprouting from his eyes. He crashes into my arms and struggles to breathe, choking on tears. I rub his back and his tears fall onto my shirt. I carry him over to a seat and rock him back and forth, trying to calm him down. He eventually stops crying and just lays there, in a puddle of his own tears.

"I'm so sorry, Mike," I say to him.

He looks up at me, tears still at the brim of his eyes. He takes a deep breath, trying to keep them from falling out.

"I can't- I can't believe he's gone," his breathing was shaky and his words were barely heard.

"I never got to tell him how I felt. I never got to say goodbye," tears begin to spill from my eyes as I hear him say these words.

I pull him closer and hold his head in my hand. He begins crying again and holds onto me tightly. I look at the other and their eyes are filled with tears as well. I rub his back and continue rocking him back and forth. Tears start to fog up my glasses so I have to take them off, even though I won't be able to see a thing. My shirt starts to dampen from Mikes tears. Eddie crawls behind me and lifts up Mikes face so their eyes meet.

"You're so strong, I know you're going to get through this. I am so sorry, I wish you the best," he whispers to Mike.

Eddie gives him a kiss on the forehead and a reasuring smile. He takes Mike out of my hands and begins to comfort him. He sings him songs and tells him jokes, getting him to laugh. I look at him in awe. Being able to comfort someone when they're at their lowest, is like a super power that only the best people have.
