Romelo

I sat in my car, smelling that new car smell. I turned it on as I turned my head to tell Larrae something, but she wasn't there. I felt the loneliness creep up on me, I'm just used to driving with her.

"Hey Romelo," Carter said as I walked inside. He was someone I have gotten acquainted with since I have started working here several months ago. When I first started working here, it was somewhat awkward. I was shy, and when I tried to talk to others, I didn't know what to talk about. Carter was always the one who would spark up the conversations, and I just went along with them. "Hey Carter," I replied tiredly.

"I was wondering if you wanted to go out with me and a couple of friends Saturday night?" I thought about it, and wasn't too sure. I'm tired and planned on sleeping in this weekend. "I'll think about it."

"Cool," he said as he walked to his work area. It was hard to focus, as I tried to work. Larrae and I haven't been talking much lately, not like we used to. It really bothered me. I pulled out my phone that I was still adjusting to, and dialed Larrae's number, hoping she would pick up. It continued to ring, I figured she was busy. I hung up and continued my job, putting away the heavy items. It was mid afternoon by the time my shift ended, and all I wanted to do was sleep.

Once I got home, I stripped from my clothes to take a shower. It was long and hot, it reminded me of Larrae and I's intimacy, though we haven't been intimate. I dried off, slipping on something to sleep in. I looked at the time and it was only 5:42. Larrae should be on her way home. Usually I would sleep, but I decided to stay up, just so could hear Larrae's voice. I missed her a lot.

I laid in bed, trying my best to stay up. I could feel myself doze off, I couldn't fight it any longer...

"I hate you so much, I want you to leave and never come back!" Larrae yelled angrily. "You don't mean that, I love you!" Romelo tried his hardest to fight, but Larrae wasn't putting up with it. Romelo had been hanging with the wrong crowd and was influenced to do some things he shouldn't do. Larrae didn't like it, neither was she going to put up with it. When she would try to talk to him, he didn't listen and continued to do what he did.

I woke up with a weird feeling, reflecting back at the strange I just had. "You okay? You looked stressed." I opened my eyes to see Larrae staring at me with concern. "I just had a weird dream, that's all."

"What was it about?" I thought to myself, trying to remember it. "We were arguing. You told me that you hated me, and wanted me to leave and never come back." It hurt, now that I've said it out loud. "Did you do anything wrong?"

"I don't remember, neither do I want to." I stared at her pretty face, bringing myself to smile. "What?" Larrae questioned. "Why are you smiling like that?" Ignoring her question, my smile slowly faded, and I stared into her eyes. "I have to tell you something," I said giving her a look of worried. "A friend of mine--"

"You have a friend? What's his name?" She asked excitedly. "His name is Carter, and he asked me to go out with him and a few friends on Saturday, should I go?" I wasn't sure if I should go or not, or if I was ready. "Of course! Why shouldn't you go?"

"I don't want to leave you here all lonely," I said touching her face. "I'll be fine, you should have fun." I smiled, "your so supportive."

"Your doctor wants to see you in the morning," she said while closing her eyes. "Fuck," I said angrily. We both waited patiently on Dr. Harris. "Why does he need to see me?" I asked impatiently. "He wants to see how your brain is developing. You might need a few X-Rays, depends if he thinks your brain is well enough."

An hour later...

"Your brain is doing just fine," he said putting away the equipment. "Better that I expected." I sighed in relief, I was scared that there may have been something seriously wrong, but I think I am just worrying too much. First they weighed me, and measured my height. I weigh 142 pounds, and only stood 5'6 tall. Apparently the vitamins you need to grow comes from the foods you eat, and I didn't have too much of that. "Was that so bad?" Larrae said holding my hand. "Yes."

We both walked swiftly through the park, swinging our hands back and forth. I loved coming to the park and watching the kids play, hoping me and Larrae will have kids someday. "When are we going to have kids?" I whispered in her ear. "Soon," she replied. "Like how soon?" She laughed, making me feel better. I didnt want to make her feel like I was rushing or putting any type of pressure on her. "Just think about it." I kissed her forehead and held her hand tighter, hoping it would last forever.

It was dark by the time we got home. Larrae wanted to sleep, but I wanted to stay up and play, wink wink. I laid on top of her, kissing all over her face. "Stop it," she said trying to push me away. "I dont want you to go sleep." She put a pillow over her face, but that wasnt stopping me. I went down further and lifted her shirt, kissing on her stomach. I could feel her arch her back, and heard a slight moan. I stopped and laid next to her, watching as she snatched the pillow from her face, giving me an angry expression. "You play too fucking much," she said throwing the pillow at me. "I thought you were tired?" I laughed throwing the pillow back. She tackled me, and we both fell to thwe floor. She pinned me, and began to take my pants off. "No! Im too young to be raped!" I said and couldnt help but to laugh.

I stood up and kicked my jeans off. I laid her on the bed, stripping her from her clothes.
