Orange is the happiest color

"Oakley.."
I groan.
"Oakleyyy"
"Whatt?" I whine.
"Get up, I want to show you something." Harry whispers.
I lift my head up to look at him. He's wearing a white t-shirt and light blue jeans.
I shove my head back down into the pillow and whine.
"C'mon lazy bones. It's a surprise. Get up and get ready for the day. See you in an hour." He says, leaving my room. I sit up and rub my eyes with the back of my hand, yawning as I do.
After I get ready in black ripped jeans and a loose blue tank top, my hair in a low bun. I see Harry sitting in the living room. It's about 11a.m which means I've had about five hours of sleep.
"There she is!" He exclaims. I walk over to him and plop myself down beside him in the couch.
"What did you wake me up for?" I ask.
"Here." He hands me a big, birthday themed bag. It's heavy.
"It's not my birthday." I tell him.
"I figured. Just open it." He says.
I huff and start to open the bag. I see what's inside and freeze.
"Did you buy all this?" I ask.
"Yeah. I know you lost it all in the flood of your apartment. I remember looking at the kind of paint you use and so I brought some of it. Along with some brushes and canvases." He explains.
I'm shocked. No one had ever bought me things before. I don't know what to say or how to react.
"Thank you." I whisper. I feel tears brining my eyes.
"No problem." He whispers back.
I look at him in awe. How can someone I've only known for a couple days be the most important person to me. I'll never admit that out loud tho.
"I have an idea." I say standing up from the couch with the bag in hand.
"Follow me!" I call towards Harry. I hear him get up from the couch and follow me outside. It's a big back yard. A pool to the left and a big, grassy field to the right.
"What's this idea?" He asks.
"A competition." I mumble. He looks at me confused but interested.
I grab one of the canvases and hand it to Harry.
"A painting competition." I smile.
After I talked Harry into my idea, he went inside to grab a blanket. He then grabbed a pool chair and set it down, building a wall.
"No cheating." He tells me. I smile and shake my head.
"Don't worry Styles, I'm gonna win anyway." I tease. He scoffs at me playfully.
*Play absolutely smitten by Dodie *
"What are you going to paint?" I ask.
"Huh, already cheating I see." He jokes. I laugh.
"Okay fine. Don't tell me." I surrender.
I pull out my phone and look at ideas of what I should paint. I didn't get any ideas. So I looked over to Harry. Seeing his silhouette caused by the sun.
