OAKLEY'S POV:
Its dinner time and me and Harry decided to order Chinese and watch a movie. I told him he could pick it and I'm honestly not surprised by what he picked. Love actually. Its pretty good. I've never seen it before, but I'm glad I'm watching it.
So here we are. Watching the movie, eating my rice and orange chicken while he eats his noodles and his chicken. I don't what kind he got but it doesn't look very appetizing to me. And we're sharing some spicy chicken.
"This is my favorite part." He says, pointing to the t.v. I smile. Secretly watching him instead of the movie. I don't know why. I just like looking at him. I like looking at the way he looks at things and I can't seem to stop.
I need to stop.
After the movie was over, I got up to put the leftovers in the fridge and throw out garbage away.
"Here." He hands me a fortune cookie.
"I don't believe in fortunes." I say, taking the cookie out of his hand.
"Well I do. So we're going to open them and your going to pretend to believe in it. Okay? For me?" He pouts. I shut my eyes and huff.
"Fineee." I sigh. He just grins at me and opens up his fortune.
"Nothing is impossible to a willing heart." Harry reads the tiny piece of paper. He looks to me and nods his head towards the cookie in my hands. I groan and break open the cookie, taking the paper that's inside.
"You will stumble into the happiness of your life."
I read.
"Hmm." I hum, crumbling it up and throwing it away. Harry's eyes stay burned on me as I do it. His eyebrows pulled together.
"What did you do that for?" He asks.
Because for once I think it might be right. For once I think I stumbled my way into the happiness that is Harry. And that terrifies me.
"Because...I told you I don't believe in this stuff." I lie.
He just nods. Snaking his young on the roof of his mouth to make a 'tick' noise.
"I'm going to bed." I say awkwardly, walking past him to head to the stairs.
I get to my room and close the door. Leaning up against it and holding my hand on my chest.
Breath, just breath. This doesn't mean anything.
I walk over to my dresser and pull out some light blue pajama shorts and a black tank top.
I walk into the bathroom and grab my tooth brush and squeeze in some tooth paste to start brushing.
Then in comes Harry. Shirtless and in grey sweat pants.
He's really not helping me.
He looks and me and nods with a smirk. I turn away and look into the mirror, brushing my teeth.
I glance over at Harry through the mirror. Trailing my eyes across his toned torso and down to his abs. Back up to look over his arms. He turns around for a brief moment to grab a hand towel and places it on the counter. He doesn't have any tattoos on his back. He has one attractive back.
