Betrayed

Chapter 6

*Percy/Nova POV*

"Percy!" Luke called down the hall. "Yeah Luke?" I asked, he was out of breath from running to catch up with me "Chaos wants you." he panted. "Ok I'll be right there." I answered. Wonder what Dad wants? I shrug. Guess I'll find out now. I teleport to the throne room. "Hey Dad." "Hello Perseus."  "What have I told you about calling me that?!" Chaos just laughs. "I have a mission for you." he says "Ok what is it?" I asked "It's a recruitment mission." "Where?" Chaos looked uncomfortable "On earth, at errr you-know-where, but don't freak, you won't have to interact with any of the people who betrayed you. I think you'll like this mission. If you recruit them they will be in your squad so it's your choice." "Ok, when do I leave?" "Five minutes."

I teleported to the training room, looking for Bianca. "Bianca!" I call, once I spotted her. "Heya Perce, what's up?" she asks, jogging over "The sky." I reply. She rolled her eyes at me, "Haha very funny. You know what I meant." "I've got to go on a recruitment mission." "Okay see you later." "Do I not get a goodbye kiss?" I ask. She rolls her eyes again but stands on tiptoe to kiss me on the cheek. I move my head so that she kisses my lips instead and deepen the kiss. My hands come up to cup her face and her hands come up around my neck. After a bit I pull away, not wanting to but knowing that if I don't leave soon Dad might be annoyed. "See you later Bia." I smile at her and melt into the shadows, letting Dad direct me. 

I came out by Thalia's tree, disguised. I saw Nico and Will walking over the border, hand in hand and smiled, they're such a cute couple. Then I realised that they must be the people Dad sent me to recruit. "Just watch for now." I heard Dad say in my mind. I nodded, knowing he could see me.

A/N: Sorry this chapter is so short but as of writing this I'm currently in the middle of Christmas exams :( I'll update as soon as I can.
