*3rd person POV*
Nico and Will were trudging through some woods when a large group of monsters ambushed them. Nico and Will immediately leapt into battle, destroying monsters left and right, back to back, Nico with his sword and Will with his bow. Then, the last monster, a hellhound leapt at Will, so suddenly that he didn't have time to fire his bow. The hellhound raked its claws across at Will's chest. Will collapsed, blood pouring out of his chest. Nico yelled "Will!" and slashed the hellhound to dust. He scrambled for ambrosia, nectar, anything that will help the love of his life. But it's too late. Will takes Nico's hand "I'll miss you, Neeks." Nico let out a small sob and replied "Don't leave me sunshine, please don't leave me. You're the light of my life." "Glad to finally hear you admit it." Will smiled sadly and used all his strength to pull himself up and kiss Nico one last time "I love you Nico." he whispered as he slowly lowers himself back down. "I love you too." Nico whispered, so quiet that Will almost couldn't hear it. Will smiled sadly and closed his eyes, letting out his final breath as Nico desperately prayed to the gods, "Please, don't do this, don't take my sunshine away." he put his hand on Will's chest and tried desperately to feel a heartbeat but failed. Will really is gone. Nico laid his forehead on Will's chest and cried, whispering between his sobs "Why did you take my sunshine away?" eventually the darkness crept in and he welcomed it, welcomed the never-ending bliss of sleep as he slowly slides into unconsciousness.
A/N: T-T I cried writing this. Why do I torture myself like this? I honestly have no idea.
Sorry the chapters are so short at the moment. I honestly have no excuse as to why this one is so short, I just felt like it was the right time to end the chapter.
