Sorai Tana's Shittiest Mistake

Sorai isn't that bad of a person. 

At least, that's what she always says. But through all of her immediate judgements, her bias for and against certain looks and relentless teasing and bitchiness, that thought is hard to prove as true. 

She grew up as most other kids did. She woke up, get dressed, ate breakfast, went to school and took care of her grandmother when she came to visit from Nigeria. Sorai would hang out with whoever struck her fancy each day, and she accumulated quite the little flock. 

She loved figure skating, and won many awards and gold medals, all up until she was 14 and she was fell flat. Literally. After one little misstep, Sorai and her current skating career came crashing down onto the ice. 

Upset at the injury and the doctors that wouldn't let her back onto the ice, she turned to volleyball and, unfortunately, bullying. 

One of the kids at her school, who she knew as Kayodo "Liar Boy" Shou, who always wore a long, dark blue wig, was chosen as her favourite victim. Sorai tormented the kid, thinking it was all some funny joke. That it was just her teasing "Liar Boy" for appearances. 

But she didn't know the whole story. 

As she learned after she was reported to the principal, little Shou wasn't just some boy with "girly" tastes, the kid she knew as Kayodo WAS a girl. She was a trans girl, and Sorai was the only one in the whole school who didn't know, it seems. 

She was expelled, and forced to transfer to Johzenji. Now, Sorai just hopes she won't hurt anyone, and as an effect, herself, ever again.

Sorai Tana's Shitty Sleep

Every night, Sorai goes to bed. Every night, Sorai sleeps. And every night, Sorai wakes up, having just been through hellish nightmares. 

And though she swears she's never seen, read or played Danganronpa, her dreams say otherwise. 

In her dreams, she wakes up, seeing the trans girl she used to bully sleeping on a desk in some random school before running out of the room. She sees people drowning in pink pools of blood. She sees a swimmer stab a poet before trying to turn on her. 

She sees a boy with so much pain inside through a hazy, exhausted gaze. And then she sees him hanging from a noose with a knife in his chest. 

She meets a sweet girl who used to be just like her. Then she sees the lovely girl dead in a freezer. 

She sees a person giving their only leverage to the one controlling them, and then she sees her own hands on their throat. The last thing she sees before waking up is giant skate blades swinging to and fro, as she speeds towards them and away from an army. 

And then she wakes up, has a nice day, and goes to sleep, to revisit her nightmares again.

A/N: This OC, is actually a Danganronpa OC (Ult. Figure Skater) but the backstory blocks written are clearly not leading to Hopes Peak. These blocks were written for her as inserted as a Haikyuu!! OC like most others before her.
