Chapter 27|Skeletons and Demons

Chaeyeon's pov........

After all the drama of Yujin and Hitomi life went back to normal, Yujin is always at my house these days and Hitomi went back to Japan. Yujin have this idea that we should move in together when she turn 20 but I think it's crazy.

I think she should stay with Hitomi, I mean they have all the millions in their accounts and they are still waiting for other millions from their promotions before they terminated their contracts. So these bitches are rich, Hitomi wants to be a chef while Yujin want to be a doctor so they will be studying buddies.

I'm releasing a song tomorrow and I won't be promoting it, I will be doing lots of interviews starting with Élle magazine tomorrow. Since the awards are next months starting with MMA then MAMA  and surprisingly I'm invited to all the awards and I'm nominated in 8 categories combined if I'm not mistaken.

Both my companies agreed to let me reveal the truth to boost my awards votes and trust me I almost laughed when they told me about it. I am honestly scared since Somi will not be there, so I'm praying they put me on same table with ITZY or YG and WM artists. I think that's the only way I will be comfortable.

I also have a special performance honouring IU sunbaenim at MAMA, so I chose to perform "Lost Child". I chose it because I can relate to it, It just narrate  my feelings about how I feel towards people who I once loved but abondoned me when I needed them the most and my feelings and words to them.

My interview got postponed to a week before MAMA, but my song was released and like my other songs it did well. The months went on fast and MMA arrived and I was honestly scared. I was nominated in 3 cartegories, Artist of the year, Top fan choice and Song of the year with "Freed".

I woke up in the morning with my heart racing and I couldn't believe that today I'm going to meet everyone. I woke up at 5am and took a quick shower and wore my black sweatpants with black hoodies and a black mask with my specs. I opted black nike sneakers, I took my phone and left since I was running late.

I found my manager outside and we drove to the awards venue for rehearsals, we arrived by 6am and I was number 9 in line. My manager came back with my name tag and we went inside, I didn't talk to anyone I just bowed and put my air pods on and my manager connected music on my phone.

I did saw people staring at me but I just bowed to them, I didn't see ITZY there so I'm guessing they are already done but I did saw iz*one but I didn't care. When I was fixing my glasses I saw Eunwoo and Hansol but I ignored them. I went and rehearse "Freed and Break Me", the moment i finished I left and went to my car with my manager.

He drove me to the salon and drop me there while he get me breakfast since I didn't eat in the morning. I got my hair done and I went to the awards venue by 12pm, we packed at the parking and my manager told me to rest. I just fell asleep and the rest is history, he knows I have been having problem with everyone around me.

After a long time he woke me up and he told me we should go inside to our waiting room since I won't be attending a red carpet. It was cold outside so I covered myself with a blanket and went inside. I honestly was5h not checking my surroundings when I was walking, whenever I see a person at the corner of my eye I just bow.

I don't even remember how many times I bowed, we arrived at my waiting room and I continued to sleep, they applied my make-up while I was sleeping. They woke me up by 4pm to get dressed, I'm wearing a red mermaid dress and it's gorgeous. I look matured in it and I'm loving it.

I had snacks and my manager took me to the venue, they showed me my table and I will be sitting with AKMU, Sunmi and Chungha sunbaenim. I went and sit next to Suhyun and Chungha since it's opposite far away from iz*one, I was starting to get nauseous and my manager noticed and came to me.
