Chapter 27

"I don't know what you're talking about Papa," Irene said trying to change the subject.

"Irene, look at me. I know you don't want to talk about them or their treatment but talking about it helps, princess." He said.

"I know Papa but at the present, I don't want to," Irene said, tears filling her eyes, as all of the memories started to come back to her.

"Fine cub, Padfoot, stop pestering her when she wants she will talk," Moony said taking her into a hug.

"Ok, fine," He said and relief spread through her, "But you are still going to tell us that story."

That was when she pouted again and when her heart rate started to pick up a bit. "Um, well you see. ImayormaynothavemadeadealwithVoldemortduringtheschoolyearandnowhaveanagreementwithhim."

Sirius just looked at her with a look that said, 'Do I gotta force it out of you?'. She sighed and repeated what she said but slower, "I may or may not have made a deal with Voldemort during the school year and now have an agreement with him."

Irene was looking down at her feet afraid of what their reactions would be. For a moment it was completely silent in the room, not a single sound could be heard. When they then all exploded at the same time, though not about the same thing.

The males, excluding Jareth, since he already knew, were all yelling about how unsafe that was and how she never should have done that. While the females, excluding Sarah, were yelling about how much of an idiot Dumbledore was and they were asking her questions about how, when, and why she did what she did. All of the yelling directed toward her started to give her flashbacks and started going into a panic attack. 

Irene started to shrink back, trying to create space between herself and her family members but they only got closer. In the midst of the panic, Salazar started to feel her panicking back at the apartment and started to locate where she was.

Once he got her location, he apparated there. As he appeared there was a big bang that overpowered all of the yellings and cut it off. The black family was once again sunned as someone new appeared in the room.

A tall man with long dark hair and emerald eyes glared at the family, which got them to shut up, before turning to Irene and pulling her into a hug whispering into her ear trying to get her to calm down. When she did finally calm down, the man turned to Jareth and started to glare at him before going off, "Why didn't you do anything to stop them from freaking out on her! You know what happened and how she reacts to it! Hell! You've seen it before!" 

Everyone could tell that he was on edge, but was stopping himself from screaming because of Irene being in his arms. But before the man could go off on Jareth more Sirius butted in, like an idiot, "Who the hell are you and why are you holding my daughter," Sirius went to go grab her from the man but she just clung onto him tighter which made Sirius flinch back slightly and the man to grab onto her tighter.

The man then looked down at Irene before crouching in front of her, "Are you alright now, princess?" Irene only nodded in response, which made the man sigh. He lifted her head, forcing her to look him in the eyes. "Irene, I need words to understand whether you are or not."

"I'm fine...you old pervert." The insult made the man smile before getting up from his crouching position. 

He looked back to the family who had looks of surprise, hurt, and sadness on their faces, "I'm Salazar Locke. Irene freed me from being a djinn and had apologized beforehand and so I decided to protect her as payment for the apology."

The only people who really seemed to understand what he meant were the elders and Remus. So basically everyone but Sirius, who went to go and ask questions but was cut off by Remus explaining what Salazar had meant.

*Time skip brought to by Mulan being badass in all of her movies*

After explaining everything that happened since Sirius had been sent to Azkaban when Irene remembered something that even the king did not know about yet.

"Oh! I just remembered something, so remember when I talked about Sal and l getting detention with Hagrid?" They just nodded their heads, "Well when we found the unicorn and we gave it a proper set off to death and the unicorn herd found us, and spoke with me and made me an honorary member of their herd!"

This shocked everyone in the room including Sal and the King, as even though Sal was there he didn't have creature speak so he hadn't understood what was being said. While the king was shocked because even he had not heard of that happening, especially not to a human. 

The king was the first to break his statue-like stance, "What do you mean, you're an honorary member of their herd?" Irene looked at him with a confused look on her face.

"Well, after we sent the dying unicorn off properly the herd approached me and let me touch their sides and manes when the stallion of the herd came up to me told me that they were thankful for what I did, He then put his horn on my forehead and gave me some of his magic so I thanked him. Which shocked them because I guess they weren't expecting me to have creature speak, and so we had a conversation about how they knew I was Magick's chosen and how I was prophesied in both the creature and mage world- Oh! and they even let one of their foals come up to me!" 

Irene stopped for a moment trying to remember what else the stallion had said, "And the stallion also said something about if I was in danger that they would help I wished them to, or if I wanted advice to search my magic for their presence." 

Irene pouted a few seconds after finishing her story, "I never learned their names."

The king suddenly let out a boisterous laugh, which started most people as they had never heard of the king laughing before, "I should not be surprised. You have three of the most powerful bloodlines in your veins, it would be surprising if you were not known in the creature world," he paused for a moment, "And it is no surprise that the unicorns seem to care for you, they tend to protect the innocent and you little rose," He caressed her head for a second as he said this, "Are quite innocent. Despite the atrocities, you have dealt with."

I'm back! Sorry that it took a minute but I ended up getting too busy to update after getting a laptop. Also sorry if this chapter is kinda weird and shitty I rushed to get this finished but either way, I hope you enjoyed the chapter!
