Location: Harem Guest Building, The Royal Harem Hall at the Royal Palace of Sekhe, West African State, African Lands

The carriage ride led him to the guest building in the harem hall. Rehema was right, the harem hall and harem palace area was much more quieter. Things were more relaxed and calmer. Not as many servants, chefs, maids, and guards roaming around. The carriage stopped in front of the entrance of the harem guest building and the carriage driver opened the door for Sang-chul allowing him to exit. When Sang-chul took a look around the first thing he took in was the pretty yellow and red style architecture of the harem palace area.

The low ceiling building in front of him was the harem guest building and a servant was the first person that approached him bending on his knees slightly to greet him. The servant was probably only a few years younger than he was and was wearing a colorful patterned dashiki, with black drawstring pants, ad worn out brown shoes. The servant had moisturized sepia color skin, that glistened in the sunlight and a jet black mini afro haircut.

"You must be the new concubine for her majesty?" He greeted Sang-chul with a smile and had a cheery voice.

Sang-chul nodded and kept his hands hanging down his sides. The carriage that was behind him now rode away from the scene.

"Well, my name is Addo, Sir. I was assigned to be your main servant, and help you settle in," Addo continued. "You can follow me." Doing so Addo led the way inside the harem guest building with Sang-chul following behind him.

"You won't be here for much long Sir. Her majesty will give you a house soon like the rest of the concubines. It's just been so busy and hectic around the palace because we have a new empress." Addo was taking them past a hallway and up a marble staircase. They came across another corridor wide open space area and saw different doors in the hall. Addo walked past three doors and finally stopped at the fourth door, opening it, and allowing Sang-chul to enter first.

It was neat and regular sized bedroom. A grand sized bed sat in the middle and a table sitting area with two couches across was across the room. The floor was a bright green and red patterned carpet, and it was warm inside. A bookshelf was lined on the opposite side of the wall that Sang-chul came in from.

"You can get comfortable. I will be back here at night with your dinner Sir..." Addo wasn't sure of his name.

"Sang-chul," Sang-chul answered, as he walked around the room admiring the black and white cheetah spotted decorated wall.

Addo nodded, "Yes. Sir Sang-chul. I will be back at night with your dinner."

"Am I allowed to leave?" Sang-chul asked.

Addo blinked, "Of course, it's just it would be best if you let me accompany you instead of wandering off by yourself. Do you want to go somewhere?"

Sang-chul shook his head, "Not now but maybe later for a walk." Sang-chul went over to sit on the edge of his bed. "Thank you," he said quietly. Addo bent on his knees again to do a simple bow and excused himself leaving.

Sang-chul spent the rest of his afternoon resting and taking a nap. He woke up when it was night and he had gotten thirsty and hungry. So far, he liked Addo. His servant back in the East Asian lands hardly ever talked to him or showed up to his side. But Addo seemed different, genuine, and loyal.

Just like Addo promised he showed up with dinner at night, carrying a silver platter, and Sang-chul had just woken up.

Addo kneeled, greeting Sang-chul first and then placed the covered silver platter on the table across from the grand bed. San-chul got up from bed and approached the table.
