Steven heard an alarm going off as he fluttered his eyes opened. Then he smiled a little, something clicking in his head as he got out of bed.

Today was his first year of high school and he couldn't wait for today. He quickly got ready for today and before he knew it, he was walking downstairs, and saw his whole family.

His dad, his pet cat Lion, and his two female guardians. They weren't actual blood related family, but he thinks of the two as his aunts.

"Morning Schnuball." His dad said. Steven grinned a little and went up to his family.

"Morning, Dad."

"Good morning, Steven." One of the aunts said with a calm smile.

She was tall out of the whole family. She had dark skin, a curved body, different color eyes, and a small dark brown afro with faint red and blue dye in it. She wore a bergandie tang top with a jean jacket, showing off the small abs, her bust size, and small muscles she had, tight fitting black jeans, black heeled boots, and she had sunglasses on.

"Morning, Garnet."

"I hoped you slept well, Steven." Said the other guardian with a caring smile.

She was shorter than Garnet, but she was still taller than Steven and his dad. She had tangy colored short wavy hair with small bangs. She wore a simple fitting blue blouse covering her flat chest and curved figure,  darker and fading colored blue jeans, black flatts, her skin was pale, and her eyes were a shade of ocean blue.

"I did, Pearl." Steven smiled still as he went to the small kitchen they had in the house. He hummed a small tune to himself while his family stood by.

"Steven, if you wanted a protein shake, you could've asked, you know." Greg said. Steven looked at him with a small smile while putting slices of fruit from a container in the fridge and orange juice in the blender.

"No it's ok, Dad. I don't mind. And besides, I'm in a good mood today." He grinned the last part at his dad.

Steven then looked back at the now closed and filled up blender as he pushed the button, the blender slicing and turning the sliced up fruit into a liquid. A minute or so later, he had his protein shake.

But, he saw his backpack on the couch that was in front of the coffee table in the small living room. He went to it to grab it as he and his family walked out of their house.

They lived in a nice neighborhood with different looking houses. They lived here ever since Steven was born and with Greg working as a manager for a band, they were good on electricity, food, internet, and rent.

"You got everything you need right?" Pearl asked. Steven and his dad were getting into the blue Dondai they own as the teenager was in the passengers seat, the door still open.

"Yes, Pearl. I got everything." He reassured with a smile still on his face.

"Your folders?"

"Yes."

"Your binders?"

"Yes, I got them."

"Your markers, papers, pencils, pens, sticky notes, highlighters-?"

"Pearl, he's going to be late if you keep asking him if he has everything." Greg said with a chuckle. Pearl gasped quickly.

"Oh! Right! Steven get going you don't want to be late on your first day!" Pearl hugged Steven, then Garnet hugged him, and while they hugged one another they said their goodbyes. Steven closed the car door as the slim and curvy women stood on the sidewalk while car drove away.
