This is kind of like a themed oneshot idea I had when it was raining. Basically it's raining and you're stuck with them.

noun, Welsh
(n.) offering someone a safe place with an affectionate hug.

Darling, trust me I want to know all about you, you can go on for hours. I don't mind.

Gentle pit-pat of droplets could be heard getting faster with the passing moment. Gentle sound of rain pouring was like music to her ears. 'Better to head out now than when it starts raining heavily.' Y/n thought to herself at the very same moment she decided to take her leave.

Sighing as she made her way to the exit, "I have to leave now. Or else I won't be able to make it back to work on time. Take care I'll see you around."

"Where do you think you are going?" the silver haired mumbled. "It will just rain harder, just call it a day and stay with me tonight. The kids are also gone."

Rather than listening to Gintoki's opinion she remained firm in her decision. She paid no attention to his words rather just grabbed the umbrella. Her mind was preoccupied by multiple thought of how will she make it back. Granted it will be quite a walk downtown.

As she made her way downstairs, a bolt of lightning tore across the sky. She immediately returned back to his place. Not a better idea anymore she turned around heading upstairs.

He lounged around the sofa as he heard quick footsteps. "On second thought your are right Gin. I'll just spend the night here besides the kids are also gone so it means more space for us." Y/n uttered.

"What did I tell you? Gin-san is never wrong!" He huffed his shoulders as he smiled smugly at her. "Y/n, Don't you think you owe me an apology?"

"Yes, yes I do. I'm so sorry Gin-san you were right and I was wrong. I do not fathom how wrong I was in. Woe is me! What would I do without you being concerned for me!" She mocked as she tried her best to sing along to it dramatically.

Slightly embarrassed at her words to sugarcoat him he mumbled in low pitch "T-that's enough, o-of course I'm very much concerned w-with m-my g-girlfriend's w-w-well-being." he covered his face with his hands, "Dammit why am I stuttering? Why is my face so red? You're supposed to be the heroine, do your job. Don't switch the roles!"

Immediately she went over to his side and placed her hands on his cheeks and looked him in the eye. "Don't you dare say that, you are my heroine. Got it?" she said while maintaining a serious tone without flinching.

"Really? Did you expect me to go all, 'As you say Ma'am' Don't give time that crap! Also wait why am I being so submissive that's not like Gin-san. He is a notorious playboy experienced with the language of love and ladies. At least you are not mean to me anymore. Why are you so rude to me when other people are around? You don't know how much it hurts Gin-san's feelings do you? Wait a minute don't take my strawberry milk!" He exclaimed.

With no signs of remorse in her eyes she responded, "Well my sincere apologies Sir, your monologue looked like it wouldn't end any sooner so I decided to help myself with this instead."

"No don't drink it now, we can have it after our dinner. Today Gin-san is in a good mood. He is in the mood of cooking!" He thoughtfully nodded his head.

"You? Cooking?" she couldn't hold it in and laughed. "How? With what huh those kiss the chef apron in pink? Or wait are you going to hand me over some strawberries with strawberry milk while chiming 'Bon a petit' with a fake French accent?"

He had enough with the mocking, "Do not underestimate my cooking skills. I will make sure to make the best ramen you've had" he smirked "and make you kiss the chef." He cooed in her ear seductively as she her ears turned red.
