Two weeks. It took Yoongi all of two weeks to feel completely comfortable enough with Emersyn that he called her home.

It scared the hell out of him.

It was concerning to him how easily he allowed himself to be completely defenseless around her.

He was almost ashamed to admit that it took him barely 3 days before be comfortably laid his head on Emersyn's lap, allowing her to pet him. Yoongi especially liked when she would scratch behind his left ear as they would watch tv at night, where he could imagine that she was completely immersed in his as he was in her.

The routine was natural for them both to fall into, something east that neither of them seemed to question with just how comfortable it was. Emersyn would wake up early, early enough that Yoongi would still be asleep when she left for work, even if sometimes he did try to be awake to see her off for work. Emersyn would always leave a small note for him, which normally included a time she would be home, even if it was the same time everyday, along with anything he needed for the day. At 6pm or 10 minutes either side of it, Yoongi would greet Emersyn at the front door with a small smile, taking her coat or bag or food if she bought some home with small talk of how her day went.

Yoongi made a passing comment once that he is able to cook, or it was more that Emersyn never really had time to make a proper meal that was nice to be considered edible. Emersyn decided to put him to the test, taking him shopping with her and bought everything he'd need to make dinner. Yoongi was happy to move around, to do something other then wait around for Emersyn to get home, cooking before Emersyn finally arrived home to taste the food he had made for her. He couldn't hide the concern on his face as Emersyn took a bite into the steak and pasta, keeping a straight face as she stared at him, chewing slowly as if she were really critiquing his work. She only put Yoongi out of his misery when she completely devoured the rest of the food with a little dance as she ate, the laugh she gave only causing Yoongi to finally breath a little easier that he'd done a good job.

Besides the few times Yoongi had seen Emersyn in the mornings as she's woken up, make up-less and hair in all directions, it was the most beautiful Emersyn had been in his eyes. Smiling around the food he had made, her shoulders moving to a random beat in her head as she appreciated every bite. The attachment Yoongi was feeling was really starting to claw in deeper and deeper in his heart and soul and although it scared him, something as simple as the food he offered her made it a little easier to accept.

From that day Emersyn and Yoongi agreed on a rule, Yoongi would cook dinner every night except Saturdays. They both agreed to order take out so they could simply have a weekend that didn't ask anything from them.

Thanking every star, she could see in the dying light of the sun as she finally pulled into the driveway of her home that it was Friday, Emersyn finally pulled into the driveway. Her arms and legs felt like jelly, having been walking around most of the day, carrying stacks of paper, practically running around. Fridays were always busy at the company she worked at, like everyone had a sense of urgency to finish so they could get home quicker.

And she couldn't blame them for that, for she had a reason to come home now.

That very reason was currently standing at the open front door, a smile on his face and a cup in his hand, waving Emersyn in. This cause Emersyn to pretty much run towards him, almost too happy to accept the hot drink from him and the warmth of the home around them. Taking a needed sip of the hot tea, Emersyn allowed Yoongi to help her out of her coat and take her bag to hang up. Hanging it as he shut and locked the door, ushering in the warn out Emersyn in further into their home.

"Busy day?" Yoongi asked as he directed Emersyn to the couch, sitting her down by her shoulders.

"I think I'm going to just quit." Emersyn sighed dramatically, leaning back against the couch as she kept the hot tea close to her body, smiling as she saw Yoongi walk away from her, shaking his head. "I don't want to work anymore."
