Kalin POV
"Okay thank you doctor." I smiled
"See you next time!" He waved
"What happened baby?" My mom asked
"She said I was okay I just need to drink more liquids." I explained. Nothing serious was wrong with me I just kept getting headaches and would throw up yellow stuff.
"You wanna get something to eat or go home?" She asked me
"Can we go get some food?"
"Yea what do you want?"
"In n Out" I started getting excited. When we pulled into In n Out my mom started ordering our food and ordered some food for the rest of my family too.
"Is that all?" The worker asked
"Yes that's all." my mom politely said.
I went to sit down at a table and started thinking about next month. I can't believe my mom is marrying Kyle. I kinda guessed it because they've been dating for like 3 years now, ever since Skylar moved out here in the Bay. She and her dad are originally from Las Vegas.
"Hey honey listen for our number I'm gonna use the restroom real quick." my mom handed me the receipt and I nodded as she walked off.
I was so happy for my mom she and Lala are my whole world, of course Skylar and Kyle are too but those are my real ones. I giggled at myself.
"NUMBER 15!!" I quickly got up and started walking to the counter, it was a girl she looked really pretty.
"Thank you." I smiled she tapped my shoulder and handed me a piece of paper. I'm guessing it was her number... I grabbed it and put it in my pocket and sat back down at the table waiting for my beautiful mama. A couple of seconds later she walked out and she was on her phone.
"Yes me and Kalin are done we are at In n Out we are leaving right now." She nodded at me and we started walking to the car. I tuned around and smiled at the pretty girl. She blushed and continued working.
"Was that Kyle?" I asked as we got in the car.
"Yes that was, he said Skylar and Myles are at the house. And Myles is waiting for you so you guys can make some beats." she chuckled to her self. My mom was always such a big fan of our music.
In a way I kinda felt bad for Skylar because I know how much she hates Myles... And I constantly have him come over the house so we could make music.
**beep beep**
I got a text message I pulled my phone out of my pocket
Skylar: When are you coming home? Myles keeps trying to talk to me😑 [and for those of you who can't see the emoji it is the straight face emoji -_-]
I laughed
I replied with: right now, me and mom just got some food.
Skylar: okay please hurry he's really annoying
Me: please talk to him Sky he's gonna be around for a while
Skylar: NEVER now hurry your butt home so you can get your friend!
"Mom, Skylar wants us to hurry home so I can get Myles away from her" I laughed, so did she.
"Okay we will be home soon. Why doesn't she like him? He's always over??" She questioned
"I have no idea..."
We pulled into our drive way. I could already imagine the joy of Skylars face. My mom unlocked and opened the door.
"Mama!! Bubba!!" Lala shouted and ran up to hug us "What's that?" She pointed to the bags of food.
"That's our food," I smiled at her put the food on the table and hugged her.
"FINALLY YOU GUYS ARE HOME!!!" Skylar screamed and ran downstairs
"Come back I have to show you the other so- Oh hey guys!" Myles said and smiled innocently.
I laughed
"Cmon guys lets eat." my mom laughed. And went up to Kyle and kissed him. Skylar, Myles, Lala, and I all looked at eachother and made a gross face.
"Hey I see you guys!" Kyle laughed and started passing out the food.
"Hey Bruh where did you go? Why did you leave early?" Myles asked.
"Oh I was at the doctors.. Which reminds me, mom can you please get me a glass of water?"
"Oh yes of course hun," my mom put her burger down and grabbed a glass cup and the pitcher of water and started pouring. And then she handed me the glass cup.
"Thank you," I grabbed the cup and gulped down the whole cup.
"How was school Lala?" Myles asked her
She blushed, she's always had a little crush on Myles. "It was good," she finally replied and smiled at us.
"She got her butterfly today," Kyle said aloud
"Oh you did good job mamas!" My mom happily said and kissed her forehead.
A butterfly means that she passed her caterpillar stage, meaning that she basically is a good student, listens, and passes her tests with a good grade. And now she's in a higher level in class.
"Thank you for the food mama, I'm gonna go do my weekend homework in peace now" she walked over to her, hugged her and jogged upstairs. We all laughed knowing that Myles was the reason why she wasn't getting her "peace."
Once we all finished our food I gulped down another glass of water and turned to Myles "You ready to make some slaps?"
He smiled and thanked my mom for the food and said "Yea bro lets go!" and ran upstairs to the studio.
"So what did you want to work on?"
"Let's finish up Stuck In A Kodak, then we can film it this weekend."
I nodded and adjusted the mic and started singing.
