Myles POV

"What the hell is going on?!" Melonie screamed when I pulled away from Skylar.

"You didn't tell her?" I looked at Skylar.

"No" she started laughing.

"UMM HELLO?!?!!" she threw her hands in the hair "What's going on?"

"They are kinda a thing now, but not an official thing..." Kalin explained. I turned to Skylar and she nodded her head.

"So you mean to say that you guys are dating? Why didn't you tell me this?" She looked at us, I shrugged my shoulders and looked at Skylar. She scooted closer to me and grabbed onto my arm.

"I mean I was gonna tell you, but I didn't think it was such a big deal" she replied.

"Not a big deal? Skylar this is huge!" she raised her voice trying to prove her point. I mean I get how it's a big deal because I brought her into this mess, but at the same time, it's not... Like oh well she didn't tell you, you were gonna find out somehow...

"It's really not though" Skylar laughed.

"Skylar it kinda is though, I mean I did bring her into this mess... Like it wouldn't make sense if you didn't tell your bestfriend we were a thing.." I explained.

"Oh my gosh, okay I'm sorry I didn't tell you... But can we go now?" she grabbed my arm and led me upstairs.

"Whoa slow down I'm gonna fall," she let go of my arm so I can run upstairs. She opened the door to her room and sat on her bed. I followed and sat next to her.

"Hey you, you have some explaining to do," she scooted closer to me.

"What?" explain what?

"Why are you such a jerk?" I shook my head.

"Jerk?"

"Yes, like at school, today you wouldn't talk to me" she softened her voice to make me feel bad, "oh my, are you embarrassed of me?" she covered her mouth.

"No why would I be?" I lied, to be honest I kinda was... I mean I was popular at school and, and she wasn't. I love Skylar with all my heart, but at school I was known at this tough popular jock kid. And she was known as this average little nerd girl.

"I know you're lying"

"I- I'm not" I stuttered.

"You stuttered," she made a straight face at me.

"Okay, okay, I am..." I whispered.

"Wait what? Myles I was just joking!"

Oh shit. Yay. Way to go Myles! You just fucked everything up!

"Skylar.." I looked down at the ground waiting for her to say something.

"I can't believe you're embarrassed of me!" she pushed me.

"Baby, no it's just that-"

"DON'T YOU FUCKING BABY ME!" she yelled.

"BAB- Skylar can you please lower you're voice?" I got up and covered her mouth. She licked my hand. "Skylar that's nasty!" I wiped my hand on her pants.

"You're nasty," she glared at me.

"Skylar look, can you at least let me explain," I took her hands in mine so she would calm down. She signed and nodded her head.

"Go ahead, explain"

"Okay look, you know I love you right?"

"Mhmmm quit the bull explain"
