(Y/n) sat near to the window while Armin serves the tea he made. His eyes didn't leave the figure that was sitting opposite of her. In front of (Y/n) sat another woman who seems to be in her early 30s. Her sparkly eyes resembles the eyes of the woman. The woman picked up the tea and took a sip. "Delicious," She giggled.

"Mother," (Y/n) spoke. "What are you doing here?"

"Can't I visit my daughter?" She smiled. "It's been a while since we hang out together like this. When was it? The last time..."

"That was a few months ago since you left for America," (Y/n) answered back while her eyes glanced away.

Her mother stared at her. Before speaking, she stretched her hands forward, awaiting for her daughter to grab hold of it. "(Y/n)..." She whispered. "I'm sorry that I had to leave..."

(Y/n) looked back at her mother, worries and sadness consumed in her eyes. Seeing her mother's outstretched arms, how could she not accept it? Plastering a smile on her face, she grabbed hold of her mother's hands, "It's alright..."

Armin, Mikasa, Eren and Jean looked at both of them questioningly and when they noticed that they have no idea what happened between the mother and daughter, they all shrugged.

The next day was quite peaceful. The birds soared into the blue sky, flapping their wings against the wind. Chirps of melodies filled the air and the sound of cars driving and honking on the streets carries on continuously. Levi sat outside of his favorite café with a cup of freshly brewed coffee. He didn't touch the drink as his minds were lingering elsewhere. Well, that was until a familiar woman's voice breaks his thoughts.

"I'm sorry for the long wait."

Levi blinked and raised his head to look at the person he waited. The ginger-haired woman from the pictures stands in front of him. She smiled when she saw Levi's usual stern looks. "What's with that face? It has been a while since we last met. Don't you want to show me that gentle looks you used to share with me?" She giggled.

Levi's eyes narrowed and he sighed, trying to cool down his temper. "I don't give a damn about how I look at you..."

She let out a soft laugh and her smiles was about to fade. Sitting down in front of him, she started to speak again, "Levi. Are you still mad at me?"

The raven-haired male stared at her, "I don't know."

The female smiled softly, "You know, sometimes fate can be cruel but this is reality." There was a moment of silent and after a few while, the female continue, "How are you?"

"Horrible. Like the world has just turned its back on me," Levi glared at her.

"Lev-"

"Petra..." He said. "How are you holding up with him? It looks like you lived a good life."

"Levi," She called. Gripping her hands tight, she could feel her heartbeat pounding in her chest and it stings her. "We're- You're still mad at me aren't you?" Trying to smile, she looked at him. "We're fine. And I heard you're dating someone too. Is that true?"

"A sniffing woman who can predict their true soulmate through the smells," He answered. "Does that sound familiar?"

Petra flinched, "Levi. That... That was different. What happened between us doesn't have anything to do wit-"
"With what?" Levi interrupted. "With you and him?"

"Levi, please... Listen to me," She said.

The male stood and fixed his coat. "It doesn't matter... I'll prove you wrong."

As Petra stood, Levi stomp his way and left. "Levi! Wait! Please..." Her eyes started to brim with tears. Sobbing silently, she stared onto his back until he was no longer in sight. "But it wasn't her fault..." She muttered, gripping her hands tight in front of her chest.

You were standing inside the bakery. With a lot of customers purchasing, of course you were very happy that your baked goods were sort of like 'the talk of the town'.

"Thank you, please come again!" You chirped.

"Oh, thank you too (Y/n)," an elderly woman laughed. "And I will come again..."

You giggled. Seeing that the customers have depleted, you were about to walk towards the counter table when the doorbell suddenly jingles open and you turned to see your 'date' walking his way towards you. "L-Levi..." You muttered.

He glared at you before grabbing your hand forcefully. "You're coming with me..."

"Wha-" You stumbled. "Wait. I-"

He didn't listen to you and his eyes kept glaring to his front. "I said, you're coming with me." Dragging you to his car, you didn't resist. His grip on your hand causes you to wince. "Get in." He ordered, letting you go in front of his black sedan.

Afraid to disobey him, you didn't fight back. You entered the car and sat quietly, waiting for him to say something. As he shuts his door, his hands grabbed the steering wheel and he gripped it tight. He was scowling and you know you don't want to press the trigger to his anger. "L-Levi?"

Closing his eyes, he spoke, "You didn't ask anyone about her did you?"

"W-what?" You blinked, confusions surrounding your minds.

He sighed exasperatedly, "The picture that you saw yesterday?" Facing you, his eyes were striking deep into yours.

You remembered the incident that happened a day before and how much it causes him to boil up. You didn't do anything wrong did you? It was an accident that you happened to stumble and pressed on the desktop involuntarily. "N-no..." Averting your eyes away from his, his eyes were still attracted to yours. "No, I didn't."

He stared at you for a moment until he looked away and started his engine. Driving away, he spoke again, "You'd better not..."

You don't really understand why this small matters becomes a big deal for him? Why is he furious until today that you felt like he was threatening you? You were curious. VERY curious about the woman. "Levi," You called. You know you are scared of him right now, but you do feel like you have the rights to know what was going on. Gathering the courage to ask, you breathed in before speaking. "Are you angry? Is she someone important to you?"

His eyebrows furrowed deep, clearly showing that he was not interested in your conversations. "That is not your business to know."

"But why are you pushing it against me? It feels like you'r-" You stopped when his eyes glared at you.

Breaking the pedal, he parked at the side of the road. He turned to face you again and stared into your eyes. "Because, it was your fault..."

"Sir Erwin, someone is here to see you," the old butler announced outside the door.

"Alright. Let them in," he answered.

As the door opens, his eyes widen at whom he saw. "Petra..."

"Erwin..." She muttered softly. Her face was pale and she looked like she was too exhausted from crying.

The blond stood and offered her a seat, "What happened?"

"L-Levi..." She said. "H-He's... Where is she? The girl..." She asked.

Erwin blinked. "Who?"

"The girl he dated..." She answered back. "I need to see her... Levi... He's-"

"Calm down Petra. I'll call Mike and ask him to call her," The male stood. How can he call for (Y/n) when he doesn't have her number? The only way was to ask Mike so that he can call her and ask her whereabouts.

Petra sits silent on her chair, hoping that she could meet the girl that Levi dated. After a few minutes of talking on the phone, Erwin turns to her and leaned against his desk. "Petra, tell me. What's wrong? Did he call you?"

She nodded. "And we met today..."

Erwin frowned, "What did he say?"

"It wasn't her fault Erwin!" She raised her voice, ignoring the question that was meant for her. "It was my fault and he is blaming it on her! Please do something..." Petra sobbed, pleading towards her friend. "You know this wasn't supposed to happen..."

"I can't..." He said.

"Lie... You're lying..." the girl said, looking at the blond. "You... You..." She muttered, looking down to the maroon colored carpet.

"Even if I manage to talk with him, do you really think he'll listen to me?" Erwin asked again, causing the girl to blink her eyes.

"Huh?"

"You know what happened between you and him and this isn't something that I can handle," He continued. "This is your problem and I can't help you."

"B-But, the girl. She's-"

"I know..." he said as he looked away. "That is up to her... She has to face him in her own way."

"Because, it was your fault..." Levi kept glaring at you.

You were silent, no words escaping from your mouth. The two of you didn't say anything until your phone suddenly rings. Flinching at the melodies of your ring tone, you didn't bother answering the call.

"L-Levi..." you muttered. "What did I do?"

He faced the steering wheel and stayed quiet like he was thinking.

"Please, I'm sorry but yesterday I was tired and I felt dizzy. I thought I was going to fall so I accidentally pressed on the keyboard." You explained. "I don't know who she is and I wasn't thinking of trying to-" You gasped lightly when you saw him staring at you again.

"Stop," he warned. "Enough..." Changing the gear of his wheels, he drives again. With his eyes focused on the road, he muttered. "It was your fault and I will prove you wrong..."
