In this world, many people are gifted with different talents. Although some are hardly found and are hardly believed in, only a few managed to use their talents for other people's benefit. But it doesn't mean that they didn't face any hardships at all. The Zacharius and the (L/n) family -some of the members- were gifted with a special talent. A talent where they'd be able to scent the fragrance of "humans". Well, basically, they're able to scent people's aroma and find their 'soulmate' by the smell.

Sniff sniff...
The blond haired male pulled himself away from the male in front of him. There were at least five people sitting at the front. There were three males and two females waiting while sitting -in *seiza style- on the soft cushion. The bangs of the blonde-haired male parted down the middle and he had a dark moustache and beard. Although his expressions were as stoic as ever, he seems to be in a calm condition. Next to him rested a small, low, round table with a paper on top of it. Every time he's done with 'sniffing' the customer's fragrance, he would scribble down some notes.
You, on the other hand was also doing an odd job -but not that odd in your point of view-. You see, Mike and you had the teacher-apprentice kind of relationship and yet you have the same gift of being able to sniff a unique scent in which you are able to 'find partners' for those who are looking for a 'long-lasting relationship'. Mike and you have been studying in college and he is in his senior years. You're still new -a freshman- to college and new to the job of 'smelling the fragrance of humans' and finding them partners. Mike had trained you and he was quite impressed by how much you've progressed this far.
"(Y/n)," he called.
You were sitting next to him. Taking a quick glance at his sitting form, he nodded at you and you smiled at the next customer. "Miss Zelma right?" The girl in front of you nods hesitantly as she blushes. "Please lean forward." As the girl comes closer to you, you leaned forward and sniffed the side of her hair. "Don't worry. I'm just trying to smell your scent." You noticed that she was slightly uncomfortable. Smiling at her, she tried to smile again and nodded. You remove strands of her hair from her side and started to sniff by the crook of her neck.
Pulling yourself backward, you smiled at her while thanking her. She stared at you blankly, afraid of what you'd say next. You turned to your sensei and whispered. He nodded while his hand was scribbling down some notes, probably noting down whatever it is you told him. After a few minutes of silence, the two of you finally settled down and study every of your customer right in front of you.
"Number 1 and 3! Number 2 and 5! Congratulations. You're the perfect couples!" You grinned. Everyone was stunned. They glance at each other, trying to search for the numbers pinned on their clothes.
Although you can see them blushing, there is only one male that was slightly shock as he quickly jumped in front of you, almost yelling, "Wha- Wait! What about me?" He pointed himself.
"I'm sorry," You smiled apologetically. "There are only five person here in this room so the numbers doesn't add up. And there wasn't a person who has a matching fragrance with yours. I can give you your money back, but please come again."
"Eh?! Noo... At these times! I was hoping I could find a date sooner," He sighed.
You let out a small laugh as he turned to leave the room. The others thanked you while they left and started to get to know their so-called 'partner'.
"That's all for today (Y/n). Good work," Mike said as he clean out his table. He turned and smiled at you softly.
Mike had known you through your family. You didn't actually have the lovey-dovey kind of feelings towards him but you do know that you respect him a lot and so does your family. "Thank you Mike-san," you giggled.
