You blinked when you notice where you were heading. "The college? Why are we here? It's sunday.." you said.

Mike was standing by the gate. When Levi saw him, he stopped the car and clicked his tongue in annoyance. Stepping out of the car, he called for you and asked you to get out as well. You only oblige.

"What are you doing here?" Levi ask.

Mike turned his gaze from you to the male. "I came to pick her up. Her mother requested to see her."

Levi's eyes kept glaring at the male in front of him. "You know damn well that you are not her driver. Move..."

"Mike-san," you muttered. "Levi, I...I need to go."

"You're staying with me," he glared.

Mike look at you and he noticed something; your expression was different. "(Y/n), come."

Facing the two of them, you wanted to get away from Levi's deadly glare but at the same time, you have a feeling that he will kill you if you go against him. "I'm sorry Levi..." you muttered.

Before he speaks, Mike moved closer and stares down at him. "Levi, we need to talk after this." As he passes by the male, he stopped next to you. "Your mother call. I'll send you back home."

Leaving with Mike, you walked the opposite direction of Levi. Somehow, you thought you caught a faint smell yet mysterious to you. Levi only closed his eyes as he scowls to himself.

Entering Mike's car, you took a quick glance to where Levi was standing. The blond notices you so he broke the silent, "Is something wrong?"

You blinked and looked down to your hands. "N-nothing... I just thought..." you trailed off. "...never mind."

"Did you caught that scent?" He suddenly asked.

Your head jolted up and you quickly searched for Mike's eyes.

"It's the scent of anger..." he continued. "He wasn't messing around."

It is true. You did caught a glimpse of Levi's scent but you remembered how Mike had told you that you won't be able to smell any of his fragrance until you're willing to accept him. Levi was angry, he was upset and you felt nothing but fear when you were with him. So why is it that you can smell a little bit of his scent? You weren't exactly ready to accept anyone. "A scent of anger..." you whispered. "...nothing ever changes." Mike looked at you before driving away. As you face him, you asked, "What's going on Mike-san?"

"I'll explain it to you once we head back to your home." He said without looking at you. "And I want you to be careful with what you said to him."

Questions begin to form in your head. Why is Levi angry? For what reason is he blaming you? 'It was your fault' and 'he'd prove you wrong', he said. But what? Leaning against the window, your hair lock fell down to your face and you decided to close your eyes, feeling the peaceful ride back home.

Levi was back to his room. He heard the children giggling outside, silently walking towards his door. "Levi-nii!" Farlan knocked. "Can we go out?"

"Aniki, I wanna go buy some food!" Isabel chirped.

He was sitting at the edge of his bed, lost deep in his thoughts. He heard the children but he doesn't feel like he wanted to go out. Sighing, he stood and opened the door only to see the two children grinning widely at him.

"Pleaaaase??" Isabel begged.

Levi blinked and he kneels down. "Farlan, Isabel..." Both children replied with a hum, awaiting for his words. "Do you..." he stopped. Sighing, he stood again, running his hand on his soft raven hair. "Never mind..."

"Levi-nii...did something happened?" Farlan asked, causing him to freeze.

"Yeah. You've been acting weird since yesterday..." Isabel continued.

He didn't reply. Thinking deep in his thoughts again, the two children glance at each other wondering what was on his mind. Seconds pass and the little girl decided to speak, "Aniki, can we go to (Y/n)-nee's bakery??"

At first, Levi blinked. "Not today..." he simply answered.

"B-but..."

Before Isabel could continue, Levi slammed his door close, leaving the two children outside.

Levi sighed as he plopped onto his bed, feeling the comfortable material beneath his body. Burying his face, he remembered how he had pulled you into the car. Somehow, it was as if he started to feel the regret burdening his heart. He didn't mean to be so rough nor did he meant to be so furious. His past keeps chaining his heart, barring him from feeling what every human wanted to feel. Pushing himself away from the bed, he took off his jacket and threw it over his chair. As he picked up his phone, he dialed a certain number.

Erwin stared out the window by his office as if he was admiring the blinking stars that was twinkling in the night sky. Hearing his phone ringing, he quickly answered it.

"Erwin speaking," he said, waiting for the person on the other line to speak. After a few seconds, he sighed, "Levi..." Sitting on his chair, he waited. "It is very rare for you to call me at this late hour."

"Who cares? I can call whoever I want whenever I feel like it..." Levi said.

Both of them stayed silent while Erwin was thinking. Soon after that, he spoke, "What is it? Is it a problem you couldn't handle?"

Levi scoffed. "Who said I can't handle my own problem?"

"Levi..."

"..."

"What did you say to her?" Erwin asked. Hearing no reply, he continued again. "Levi... Petra came in today and said something about you trying to prove her wrong. Did you go and see (Y/n) today?" Levi didn't say anything until the blond decided to speak again. "I thought I told you to give yourself a chance and let her do her job. This wa-"

"I never believed in those craps," The raven-haired male finally spoke, cutting Erwin's words. "She..."

"She what Levi? (Y/n) wasn't at fault and you know very well that her talent isn't a fairy tale." Erwin continued. "Mike had told you that before didn't he?"

"Erw-"

"Levi, let me ask you a question..." In front of the blond lies a note book that was written in scribbles. Glancing through it, he asked. "Why is it that you can trust Mike but not (Y/n)?"

Arriving home, your mother greeted you with a warm smile. She was sitting in the living room while your butler stands behind her, holding a tray of foods. Neither of them said anything so you decided to break the silence, "You called?"

"(Y/n)," your mother started. "We need to talk."

"A-About what?" You asked as you sit next to her.

At first, she didn't say anything but when she opened her mouth to speak, a voice stopped her from doing so.

"About your ability to smell people's fragrance..."

Both of you turned towards the archway and saw your father standing. "(Y/n)."
