Drunken Mistake

I only found out yesterday that I was pregnant. I'm scared and confused I don't know how Harry is gonna react. He's my bestfriend and he has a girlfriend what happened between us was a drunken mistake. Or was it.. no Lils you can't have feelings for him. He's your brothers best friend as well as yours it meant nothing. Lillian Payne what have you gotten yourself into?

I texted Harry asking him if we could talk. He said yes and that he had something important he needed to talk about as well. I meet him in a few minutes at the beachwood cafe. I feel like i'm gonna throw up. After I tell Harry I have to tell Liam and quite frankly I have no idea how he will react either.

I started walking to the cafe it's only a block and a half from my small townhome. My heart is racing like crazy this is it once I sit down there is no turning back. "Lils" Harry waves at me and I go to the table he's sitting at hugging him and then sitting down. Neither of us have talked about that night we had almost three months ago. "I know you have something to talk to me about but I need to talk to you first" he begins to say pausing to sigh "Is everything alright?" I ask "Actually it's not. You know I love you right? Not in the i'm in love with you sense but I love you because we've been best friends for ten years." he explains. Why can't he just get to the point. "Harry-" I begin to say but he blurts out something before I can continue. "Armela found about what we did and she doesn't want me to be friends with you anymore. " what..... "How did she find out?" I ask "I may have told her out of guilt." he says "So is this you telling me we can't be friends? We made a drunken mistake Harry. But I do need to talk to you about that." I try holding back my tears he's choosing his girlfriend of about a year over his best friend I mean I guess it makes sense. "Harry i'm just gonna come out and say this." I pause taking a deep breath I quickly say "impreganntandyouarethefather" he somehow managed to understand what I said and he freezes.

What he says next not only hurts me more but shocks me. "Can you get an abortion? I can pay for it." ouch "Excuse me?" I feel like I've been slapped in the face. I need to get out of here i'm angry hurt and upset. "You don't have to be involved so I guess it's fine you chose a girl you've only known for a year over your best friend. I'm glad we aren't friends anymore I don't want to be associated with assholes" I grab my back and walk away. It's fine I can do this on my own. I don't need that prick.

3rd pov

Harry couldn't believe what he had just said. He didn't mean a word but he got scared and it came out of his mouth. He's going to be a father. Harry didn't want to stop being friends but his girlfriend was going to leave him and he didn't want to lose her. What he didn't realise was it was going to hurt him way more to lose someone he had known for ten years then a girl he'd been seeing for a year. "Fuck" he mumbled he felt defeated how could he have said that to Lillian. He always wanted to have a family so why the fuck did he say that.

Lillian called her brother crying she needed her big brother now more than ever. Maybe he could give her advice since he was a single father for a while. Liam pulled up to the building where Lilli was waiting for him. She got into the car and wiped her eyes. "So what's going on Lilli?" he aks concerned. "I'm pregnant Li... and it's Harry's."His eyes looked like they were gonna pop out of his head. "You guys are a thing?"he asks "No...we kinda got drunk and now we are here. He's still with Ari" She hates the fact that she was part of Harry cheating.

"Oh. Well i'm here for you Lilli. Is he planning to be involved?" he asks Lillian sighs. "He kinda told me to get an abortion and before that he told me we couldn't be friends anymore because Ari found out what happened between us" Liam jumps into his protective big brother mode. "He's such an asshole. I can talk to him for you" Lilli shakes her head no "Liam just leave it he doesn't want to be apart of this so there's no point to do anything. I'm fine with being a single mum."she explains.

"Well you won't have to go through this alone i'm here if you need me. I'm pretty sure Niall Louis and Zayn are here for you too" Although Harry is her best friend  Zayn Louis and Niall are like her brothers. "Thanks Li" she smiles hugging him.

Liam takes her home and she decide to get things off her mind by painting. Lillian had been working on this painting for a while because when it is put up for auction the proceeds go to charity she wanted to make sure it was perfect. Art has always been her escape and she's made a pretty good living on it. Harry has a few of her paintings in his house. He was the first person to buy one actually. He wouldn't let Lils as he calls her give it to him for free because "Your art is valuable because of how much thought you put into it" he did a video call interview one day and people began to ask where they could purchase one. Harry has always been a good friend to Lillian. She doesn't understand why he's acting the way he's been maybe he's changing? Maybe it's Ari changing him? She's unsure but one thing she does know is that she wants him to be happy. If Armela makes him happy then she won't stand in the way.
