Friends

Lilli ended up at a small cafe where she ordered some tea. She looked at her phone it have several calls and texts from Harry she really didn't want to read them right now. Her baby girl had started to kick and she put her hand on her stomach. She hoped it was her daughters way of saying that everything would turn out alright.

"Excuse me miss?" Somebody taps her shoulder she turns around and sees a little girl and her mother standing behind her. "Hi" she smiles "Could my daughter get a picture with you?" Lillian nods probably Harry's fan or even Liam's "She loves your paintings" that made Lillian smile even more. She took the photo with the little girl. "I'm sorry I never got your name darling" she says to the little girl "Allison" her mother says "A lovely name" Lillian says she hugs the little girl "Thank you again. Enjoy your night Ms.Payne" the little girl waved as her mother spoke.

Harry had screwed up he hated what he had done. Armela always brought the worst of him out. Harry only let her in the house because she left a pair of earrings that her mother wore all the time. They meant a lot to her since her mom passed away so Harry helped her look. They decided to talk since it was hard not being able to find the valued item but Harry knew he should have just told her he'd find them and give it to her later. She was a master at manipulating him.

Lillian finished her tea and paid for it. She wasn't sure where she would go or even what she was going to do but at least she still had her town home. She was lucky enough she hadn't sold or rented it yet.

Lillian headed to her brothers home. He opened the door and quickly engulfed her into a hug he didn't know what had happened he could just tell she was upset. "What happened Lilli?" he asked "He cheated on me Li." and with that Liam was angry. He knew he needed to leave it be because Lillian wouldn't want him to get in between the two of them.

A few months later

Things haven't been good between Harry and Lillian they only talk to each other during the appointment and when they have to talk about the birth plan. Lillian still had to decide if she wanted to have a home birth or go to a hospital.  Lillian had flown to England a month ago so that she could be in her hometown when she had her daughter and she could be there for her brothers wedding. In just two weeks she'd have her baby girl which she was excited but nervous for. She had a small home here as well she only had a few things here for the baby because she would go back to LA a few weeks after she was born.

It was Liam's wedding day and they were all about to head down the aisle. Lillian was paired with Harry which was quite awkward but she could handle it. "You look beautiful" Harry says linking their arms "Thanks Harry" Lillian gives him a small smile "You look handsome" she adds. First to walk was Liam then Louis and Eleanor then Zayn and Gigi. Niall walked with one of Maya's cousins and Harry and Lillian were the last. They all waited for Maya to walk.

The ceremony was beautiful Lillian was happy for her older brother and her new sister in law. The guest all headed to where the reception was. Lillian found her seat at the wedding party table and grabbed some water. Her feet were killing her Harry had noticed and sat in the chair next to hers. "Do you need anything?" he asks "I hate to ask but would you be able to take my shoes off I can't really reach my feet" she explains Harry nods and helps her with her shoes. "Lils I just want you to know that I'm very sorry. I miss you a lot and I hope that you will be able to forgive me" she sighs as he speaks "I miss you too Hazza. We need to fix this relationship. We can't raise our daughter when we aren't speaking to each other." he nods agreeing with her.

"Friends?" she says "Friends" he smiles everyone is now seated at a table. The DJ announces "Ladies and Gentlemen I present to you Mr. and Mrs. Liam Payne" everyone claps.

Harry began to have hope now that they were friends once more maybe he could fix what was broken. He knew it was going to take some time but he wouldn't give up on his family not now not ever. 

After finishing their meals everyone headed to the dance floor. Lillian watched as everyone was having fun. Her favorite slow song had turned on Harry let his hand out "Would you like to dance?" he asks knowing this song was her favorite. She hesitated but agreed to dance with him he pulled her close to him and she felt a bit of comfort in his arms.

In a way she missed his gentle touch the way he smelled. She missed him. Lillian looked into his bright green eyes and went for it. She kissed him he didn't fight back he gave her the most amazing kiss of her lifetime. She knew it was wrong so she pulled away. "This was a mistake" she walked away from him.

The night continued and she kept a bit of distance between Harry yes she sat next to him but she mostly talked to Gigi. The night was coming to an end well at least for Lillian. She was really tired so she somehow managed to slip on her heels and went to say goodnight to her family. "Congratulations again guys" she says hugging both Maya and Liam.

She's heading towards the door to call a cab when Harry stopped her. "Lils wait up" she turns to him "Hey i'm sorry about the kiss I shouldn't have done that to you. I would still like for us to remain friends" she adds "Don't worry about it Lils. Do you need a ride home?" he asks "I can just call a cab" she says "Are you sure my cars right there and it'd save you the money and wait" he explains. "I'd love a ride" Harry smiles and leads her to his car. Maybe things wouldn't be so bad anymore.
