1 month later
Lily has been with Ian for almost 2 months now and it was Christmas time for them. Ian decided to buy some Christmas stuff because Lily never really spent Christmas with someone other than herself. It was kinda...enjoyable for her.
Lily looks at all the Christmas ornaments on the tree. Thought there was one ornament that caught her eyes. It was a mother and a father holding a baby in there hands. The father had on a brown winter coat, the mother wore a white winter coat with a scarf, and the baby was wrapped up in a pink blanket with a Christmas hat. Lily looked at the writing that said, 'One year anniversary with little one'.
Lily, curiosity already taking over her, walked over to Ian who was watching some football. "Ian?" She asked as Ian looked at her. "Yes?"
"What's that ornament?" Lily said pointing at the ornament with the family.
Ian followed her finger as his eyes went into complete shock.
Flashback
Jenny rubbed her little baby bump while sitting on the couch of her and her husband's new home. It was Christmas time for them and Jenny and Ian were opening presents. "Oh there's one more." Ian said as he picked it up and saw that it was for his wife.
Being the mischievous husband he was, he closed her eyes. "Hey, what're you doing?" Jenny asked as Ian only chuckled. "No peaking." He said as he kissed her neck which earn him a giggle from his wife.
Ian put the present in his lap and uncovered Jenny's eyes. "Ta-da!" Ian said as Jenny gasped. "Another one?" She said as Ian nodded. Jenny giggled and opened the present. There laid the beautiful family ornament. Jenny felt tears of joy rolling down her eyes. "Oh honey. It's...it's...I-"
"I know I'm a genius." Ian said as Jenny gave him a playful glare. Ian wrapped his arms around both his wife and her bump. Both of them kissed on the lips. "This Christmas is gonna be a good one. I can feel it." Ian said as Jenny smiled. "Me too." She said as she looked at the ornament and the baby. "And so will she."

Ian felt his own tears rolling down his face as he remembered that day. He missed it dearly. Longing for it to happen again and again. But at the same time, there was a part of him that didn't wanna remember.
Ian stood up and walked over to the tree. "Where did you get this?" He asked Lily as she shrugged. "It was on the tree when I saw it." Lily said as Ian looked back at the ornament. The life he could've had if it weren't for that pregnancy. They should've adopted. They could've.
"Ian?" Ian was snapped out of his thoughts when Lily looked at him. "Is everything okay?" She asked nicely. Knowing that it's be better to forget about it, Ian put on a fake smile and said, "Yeah, I'm fine. Besides, I have you." He said as he picked up Lily and started to tickle her sides switching each time she would try to protect them. "Eek! HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE NOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHO NOT THEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHERE!" Lily cried as Ian moved to her little ticklish belly. "Aw look at my little one. So ticklish." Ian managed to tease. While Lily on the other hand was about to lose it. "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA IAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAN I CANT HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA TAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAKE IT!" Lily screamed as Ian only made the tickling worse by blowing raspberries in her stomach. "AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!"
Soon after Lily started to make tears, Ian place her giggling self back on the couch. But not before giving her one last poke to the rib. Lily curled up a bit and giggled. "That tickles."
"I know. That's why I did." Ian said as Lily asked another question. "When will you and Lucy start dating?"
Let's just say the apartment was not gonna be quiet anytime soon.
