Students slowly start to trickle in. Since this is an all werewolf school and they all know my rank, they try their best to avoid me, even the nerds that get bullied as well. I get my notebook, a pen and my English textbook from my backpack. I start fiddling with the pen until out of the corner of my eye I see someone approaching me, which is so not right. I turn to get a better view of the person and see it's Sasha, one of Miranda's minions.
She is wearing a blue long sleeved bra kinda thing that pushes her boobs up, a matching mini skirt that is traced with gold sequins at the side and stilettos that look like 6 inch. Everyone watches in anticipation while her crew is laughing their heads off already.
When she reaches my table, she throws down everything on it. I release a sigh and squat to pick it up when suddenly there is a searing pain on my back reopening my already open wounds. The class erupts in thunderous laughter while I try to hold in my scream and my tears but a few betray me and slip out, I release a whimper due to the pain I'm trying to hold in. I think that heel dug a hole in my back.
I slowly stand with my fallen things in hand, I grab my backpack and try to walk out of the class when someone punches my head. I lose my balance and fall sideways then I bang my head on a table beside me. The class erupts in more laughter seemingly not recovered from the former one. The world seems like swirly chocolate milkshake right now. I shake my head to clear my vision and stand right back up. I hide my tears behind my frizzy black hair and take my leave. Thank goodness Mrs. Harden, the English teacher hadn't come, 'cause she would defend me and later on I would get a more severe beating later on, that's why nobody defends me, they always get a beating. There was a time this boy named Gerald tried defending me when Bryan the future Beta was giving me a pounding session, boy did that end nasty. The poor boy was in the hospital for 1 month for a concussion, several fractured and dislocated bones. Normally he was meant to heal faster but he was beat up by a Beta making him heal slower and him being a normal pack member nobody could do anything about it.
When normal pack members are beat up by higher ups they heal slower because of the extra strength the higher ups have thereby doing some real damage to the pack member. All I'm saying is that if a higher ranked member beats up a lower ranked member, some real damage would be done.
I exit the school and head into the forest while trying to stop the tears from flowing. I start running once I'm deep enough, forgetting my bleeding back. I release a choked sob and the water works begin. My vision is blurry making me trip over fallen logs a few times. After running for God knows how many minutes or hours, I come across a clearing with a pond with few lily pads in it and butterflies on the flowers surrounding it.
It looks like it came right off of a fairy tale
I sit on a rock beside the pond and hug my knees to my chest, the pain in my back long forgotten and my tears dried up.
To be honest I don't know what I've done to them all, they treat me like I'm just poison to the Earth just because I don't have a beast in me and my parents are even one of my worst tormentors. I don't understand how a father or mother would be bold enough to just beat up and insult their own child. For a father I might understand cause he didn't spend 7-9 months carrying a child in them but a mother, I just don't get it. She would go through pains everywhere, mood swings like no other and labor for hours and then because of one stupid reason they would throw away their child all their hard-work like it was a piece of cake. Many barren couples out there are looking for a child they would love till the end of time and these ungrateful mutts are abusing theirs because they didn't shift or the aren't the gender they are expecting.
No matter what these people think I would never change a thing about myself well except the people I surround myself with. I sit on the bare grass and gently brush my hand over the flowers. A gentle breeze blows by and I find myself getting sleepy so I lay down on the grass and for the first time in drift off into a peaceful sleep.
