It's funny how you think you have a friend that will always be by your side no matter the twist of fate, only for that same friend to come bite you in the butt when they rise from grass to grace.
Julia and I have been best friends for a really long time, even before we were cast aside.
We were always together, where ever she goes, I'm near by and vise versa. I thought that with all the years we've been together, how we've been each other's rock, that we would be inseparable no matter what happens. To be honest, I'm happy for Julia, she can shift into her wolf and have a mate (that tormented her for years, but a mate nonetheless).
But what makes me sad is the fact that she turned against me when she had gotten all she ever wanted.I get up stretching my back after bending over to scrub this dirty toilet floor. I roll my stiff shoulders and shrug off that sadness, besides 'Any friend of yours that turns their backs on you isn't worth your tears', my granny's words.
I quickly finish the dirty toilet I've been stuck on for hours, clean the furniture of the room then leave.
I quietly exit the room and walk down the hall of the second floor of the pack house to my next room....Three boring rooms later...
Why must this place be so big?!It is really sad this is a Saturday, I get to clean the whole pack house while everyone has fun, no fair.
I exit the last room for this floor which leaves the last floor that holds the Alpha, Beta and Gamma's suite.
Now that Julia isn't a runt and is mated to the future Beta anymore she is now the future Beta female
Lucky bitch
I head downstairs to get cleaner supplies for the higher ranked suite when some of the pack's sluts shove me making the trash I'm carrying spill.
Awwn come on!!
"Go get your own mate, mate snatcher", This Linda girl should look in a mirror.
Take a look at yourself
"Oh, that is if she has one that won't reject her", one of her minions Cassandra says.
Yeah I know that.
Wait, how am I a mate snatcher? This is really weird because I have never dated anybody, in my life so I don't get how I'm a mate snatcher.
They giggle their heads off at their insult and finally leave me be.
I continue my trek downstairs. Soon enough, I'm in the kitchen and see a few people, from what I'm seeing, they are trying to console a crying Julia.
Sensing my presence everyone turns their attention to me, even the sobbing Julia. When she sees it's me her sadness turns to pure rage. She storms towards me with speed I can't even comprehend and crashes into me like a football player tackling their opponent.
I crash my head on the tiled floor with Julia on top of me sending punches everywhere accessible and with me trying to use my free hands to block her from ripping my throat out. Apparently everyone currently watching this seems perfectly fine with the fact that a crazy lady is on top an innocent citizen for a completely unknown reason, Wow they love me so much.
She starts shouting profanities at me with even more hatred if that is even possible. By now there would be more bruises on me than there should be on a punching bag (If you know what I mean). I could feel warm liquid coming from my head -probably blood- running from my head. Wouldn't be the first time.
