"So where is your camp?" Ariana asked
"It's around here." Aiden replied with his eyes fixated on cleaning his knife of monster grime.
"How long have you been on the run?"
"6 months." Aiden said sternly, ending all further questions.
The duo reached the clean, organized camp.
"Jeez how long did it take to make the camp." Ariana said with wonder.
"It's not that big of a deal." Aiden said coldly.
"Why are you such a big downer." Ariana said while pouting.
Aiden didn't respond. He kept on gazing at the beautiful sunset and the vibrant lake. Ariana followed his eyes and saw the beautiful sight.
"It's so pretty." Ariana said awestruck from the display.
"What are you talking about? Can you not see the massive drakon?" Aiden asked while looking at Ariana.
"What's a drakon?"
"Something like a dragon."
"Where is it?" Ariana asked. "Ha I knew it, there is no drakon, you're lying to get me mad but it won't work."
"You're blind. Behind the lake, on the peak of the shortest mountain."
Ariana followed his eyes and saw the massive silhouette and promptly screamed. Aiden clamped his hand over her mouth.
"Ewwww don't lick my hand." Aiden took his hand away from her mouth and rubbed it on his pants. "And also shut up. The drakon can't see us but can hear us. If you say one more word or scream or make noise, we will die." Aiden whispered. Ariana squatted while Aiden slowly reached for his bow. The drakon turned towards the children. Aiden froze but Ariana dove for cover. The drakon saw the movement and roared. Ariana gazed at the drakon and the drakon's eyes sparked for a second. Aiden saw the spark and snapped his head towards Ariana.
"ARIANA!" Aiden shouted.
"What?" Ariana said while gazing at the eyes. Aiden dashed towards Ariana and tackled her into a tree.
"WHAT WAS THAT FOR?" Ariana screamed.
"Don't look at the drakon's eyes." Aiden said calmly.
"Why?"
"I don't have time for your dumb questions. Shut up and don't do anything." Aiden said and got up. He somersaulted towards the bow. The drakon jumped over the lake and rushed towards Aiden. Aiden picked up his bow and took the grappling arrow he had and shot it towards the nearest tree. He ran with the other end and tied it around the trunk of the tree behind him. The drakon reached him and slashed with its claws. Aiden jumped on the wire and using his water powers, he jumped onto the wire and using the wire he jumped onto the drakon's back. The drakon roared and tried to shake him off. Grabbing his dagger, he stabbed the drakon.
"GODDAM!" Aiden yelled while holding the bent dagger. The drakon wasted no time and smacked Aiden off of its back. Aiden went flying into trees.
