We've been practicing for the next round these past week and it's going well I feel like we will have the best performance this time and show our improvement, actually my depression is still not well especially since Jisung has been busy with NCT stuff recently, there are times when he has to leave me and there are time when I have to focus on my own training. I was watching me and Jisung's stage where we performed Barcode and I really wanted to know why Jisung picked that song out of all other songs, I get that it's catchy like SUPER catchy but why that song? I tried searching about it and found it came from High School Rapper, oh Mark- but these two are called Haon and Vinxen, I decided to watch the video to know more about the song

I was touched when knowing that the song came from two best friends with the complete opposite, it's really like me and Jisung, he is the reason why I'm happy now, I'm the Barcode and he is the scanner- that sounds weird but from the video it really gives a lot of meaning. I found the video cute so I decided to binge watch HighSchool Rapper 2 while waiting for Jisung, we ended practice awhile ago but then he had to go work with NCT

Jisung P.O.V

After I finished practice I went back to the dorm to stay with Shengling, it's a little late now so I suspected that she is sleeping but nope she is watching HighSchool Rapper 2 projected on the TV

Me: haha babe you're not sleeping yet?
S: whaaatt it's a weekend tomorrow
Me: why are you suddenly watching HighSchool Rapper haha that's not the season Mark's in
S: I knoooww I just wanted to know why you picked Barcode out of all the other songs available
Me: well, now you know?
S: yep :> I just finished watching
Me: wanna sleep now?
S: yeah, wait in the room I'll just drink milk
Me: okay

I went to my room as Shengling went to the kitchen to drink her milk, I fixed the bed to make it more comfortable and also made sure the room temperature is perfect, Shengling likes being in the cold and having me as her warmth it's cute

Me: babyyyy
S: I'm here I'm here *jumps on the bed and cuddles him*
Me: *pecks her cheek* I miss you *sleepy voice*
S: haha me too...actually about Barcode I thought of something
Me: hm?
S: do we think we started out as the opposite? Like you were the Barcode, at first we hated each other, I tried my best to impress you but you always turned me down
Me: hmmm I think it's not like that, you were always the Barcode in the first place, yknow how there are multiple items in a store, let's see this as you were that item that's never been picked and then suddenly someone picked you and you get scanned by that light, that's me I finally understood where you're going thru and all that and now we are finally together
S: actually yeah that sounds more like it haha
Me: yeah *chuckles* do you think we'll win this round
S: 100% I mean, you're costume looks good you'll be so handsome
Me: you too, I mean, you're going to be a dragon
S: I'm a proud Chinese
Me: you sure are
S: and then after that it's going to be the final round....
Me: why so sad?
S: I really enjoyed being in Dancing High, if it weren't for Dancing High we wouldn't be together right now
Me: hey *holds her hand* I know that once the show finishes we'll go our separate ways-
S: n-no! don't break up with me please...
Me: no I wont baby I'll never 🥺 I meant living separately now, let's just cherish these moments together and who knows maybe we'll have a chance to live together again or maybe you'll receive my cuddles sooner or later. This is not the end Ling, plus we made a promise
S: yeah haha don't break that promise, I know we gotta wait for more than 20 years to marry each other but please don't break that promise
Me: or less, I'll never break that promise plus I think marrying each other at a younger age is better, maybe when you're 25 haha
S: yah *hits him playfully* you're making me blush...
Me: that's what you do when you're in a relationship
S: how long to we have to keep this a secret...
Me: let's wait 2 years after you debut then maybe we could announce it publicly
S: but what if those sasaeng fans find out
Me: trust me, they've seen how we are on TV, they'll think we are just doing this as friends
S: I hope so...
Me: heeeyyy baby don't worry too much *cuddles her* as long as I'm here with you right now there is nothing to worry about
