Luna took the stairs to Yang yang's house, wanting to talk to him. Before she could even knock on the door, she squatted herself and hugged her leg tightly, while hiding her face on her knees.
He's playing the piano while singing that made her stopped from what her main intention was, to just listen to the song he's singing and playing on the keyboard. She couldn't help it anymore and leave before her heart will be carried away.
I don't want you here.
And what she didn't know was that he's leaving this apartment not thinking he was all she left with after everyone leaves.
Here she is, after 3 years, standing behind the crowds, watching Yang yang, in his suit, with a side neat combed hair, playing the piano in front of the guests. After moments, what she heard and sees makes her leave the place right away to avoid her mind that's about to bring up the past, she never wants to go back.
She was about to truly put her trust in him but he disappeared, just like them. He too had to leave after his life problems started arising that made him leave the k-pop industry for his piano career, just like what his mother wanted.
She walked towards her office room and her colleague walked towards her desk with an invitation card. "Here's for you" she took the card from her colleague, Shuhye. She opened the envelope and it's surprisingly a dinner invitation at the Liu Arts Foundation (Not me choking—).
"Liu Arts Foundation? Is it new?" She asked her, and she nodded. "Also who invited that pianist..." She questioned again, and she showed Luna her surprised expression. "You invited him, didn't you? Oh right. I did... but it's under your name" Shuhye replied. Luna just nods it off because she doesn't know any pianist that Shuhye helped her with.
"It's so unexpected to see the angel Yang yang here? Like, he's not the type who would attend this kind of event. Using your name was a piece of literal luck" Luna continued doing her works while she just absorbed whatever Shuhye stated to her mind. "Aren't you going to talk to the guests, our leader-nim..." Shuhye dragged her words and Luna just replied with, "I already did" and continue doing her job.
After Yang yang completed his role as a pianist at the event he was invited, a person who works under the museum lead him towards the food and beverages section. He took a glass and pour himself an apple juice. He looked around the museum, recalling about her, Luna.
He walked towards the hallway that leads to an empty exhibit. It's was so surprising to him that it's empty on this side of the museum rather than the other sides. He took a sip of his drink and looked at the canvases on the wall. He looked around and realized it's all portrait paintings. He never understands them, but he enjoys seeing those.
He walked towards the other canvas and suddenly came across a lanyard that's attached with an access card on the floor. He picked it up and slowly smiled, looking at the picture and the name. It's Luna's. She dropped them earlier before entering her office. He took them and never thought of returning it to her.
It's a way for me to get you and for fate to allow us to meet, again.
"Hey. Have you seen my lanyard?" Luna asked, whispering to Junho, the youngest amongst all curators in the office. He knew how much she fucked up. "Oh no~ good luck with getting a new one" He replied and she annoyingly kicked his chair. It's her second time losing it and making a new one isn't something the manager would want.
She gave up and thought she dropped it on her way to work this morning because of how she rushed to work and dropped a packet of tissue on the street. She packed her bag and sighed. She placed the envelope of invitation inside her bag, still considering going. She went out of the office and continued interacting with guests.
