(All the others flock to Hoffman and surround him at a reasonable distance.)

Trey: Elemental body sure is cool. Isn't it, Raine?
Raine: ...It is.
Alma: One down, four more to go.
Nuvia: Well that's ominous. What does she mean?
Raine: It isn't important right now.
Trey: Yeah, we can discuss how Raine convinced her collaborator before me later.

(Alma stares with a saddened look on her face. Hoffman begins to slow clap.)

Hoffman: Well, good job. You took out all the forces I had here.
Zellos: Don't lie, more are throughout the city.
Hoffman: After this one's show of force, they won't come near here despite my orders. And it is very weird as I am very influential.
Trey: Whatever! How did you get this bill passed overnight!?
Hoffman: Overnight? Hahaha well it does seem that way to you doesn't it. To be thorough, I've had this planned for years. It took months to meet with all the representatives of each country. Convincing them was trivial, as if all I did was wave my hand. And through the accelerated process, it was passed over a ten day period. The tenth day was eight days ago.
Micheal: I find it hard to believe every human in the world went along with this.
Hoffman: What's so hard to believe about human nature? For a very long time there has been tension between us and you. And for the longest time, no one has been able to legally do anything about it. But imagine, one day you hear that you're able to do everything you want to that one thing you want to do it to, with no repercussions whatsoever. That is what happened.
Alma: What does he mean?
Zellos: Imagine retail workers having to deal with rude or unreasonable customers all day without being able to talk back to them. Now imagine the company they work for saying for one day, they could cuss out any rude customer, or blow off any unreasonable person. The employee would be ecstatic.
Hoffman: It only takes a push. Humans make mountains out of mole hills everytime when it comes to the things they are unsure of.
Lilith: And what about those who actually like us?
Hoffman: I find that death or resentment are great motivators when it comes to convincing those types. The ones who refuse are killed by their own peers by law. Or forced to hop on to the "band wagon", is the term I have heard, because they don't want to be killed or left alone by their said peers. Sure, we can't monitor every case, but it's gone more to my plan than expected. The human ego is incredibly malleable.
Trey: You all call us monsters, but after what happened last week, that line has been blurred, hasn't it?
Hoffman: Absolutely not. As far as most are concerned, this is human patriotism. You're a plague in their eyes.
Raine: That's what I don't get! I have no idea how you convinced me otherwise, but how are we plagues!?
Hoffman: Look at you. How you have fallen. Hiding behind human ideals and emotions...it disgusts me!
Trey: We are human!
Hoffman: Not anymore! You're different! You're anomalies! You should have never been!
Micheal: We are not anomalies!
Trey: No, Micheal, it's fine.
Micheal: What do you mean?
Trey: We are anomalies. We aren't exactly normal.
Micheal: But-.
Hoffman: Exactly, you are freaks of nature. Disgusting hybridization of man and beast.
Trey: You know what? Who cares anymore what we are? I personally am tired of claiming my humanity. But I'm not some beast either. I like that I am an anomaly.
Alma: But isn't anomaly just another word for freak?
Trey: Anomaly is a deviation from the common rule. It's something, or maybe somebody, that isn't normal. And that is exactly what we are.
Hoffman: You're seriously going to be proud of what you are? Give it up, boy. There is nothing to be proud of!
Micheal: Trey is right. We are odd, even amongst other amalgram.
Raine: We are pretty peculiar.
Zellos: And strangers according to human kind, therefore we don't fit in.
Trey: But we are exactly as we were born to be. Anomalies. I'm sorry your stupid system of things didn't plan for us.

(Hoffman begins to get irritated. You can see his veins pulsing and eyes twitching as he begins to steadily lose his cool.)

Hoffman: *Angrily* Well sorry to burst your bubble, but the term amalgram isn't real. Emeratz either. You can't just make up words.
Trey: Yeah I can. As we stated, we aren't exactly normal. Why use a normal word to describe us? Amalgram comes from the word amalgam, which means a perfect mixture. Emeratz comes from ersatz, an inferior copy. I've proven today that they are, in fact, inferior. We aren't the monsters, the things you created are. And they're an insult to us.
Hoffman: Us? As in you few? Because I doubt any others will back you up. As you said, they're "human" to. I wouldn't expect a welcome party. Besides, I've kept a hidden camera on me broad casting your needless slaughter of my men. If the entire world wasn't against you before, they definitely will be now. This was nothing more than revenge on your part. And that won't bring you a heroic view.
Nuvia: Who cares about that?
Raven: Yeah, what message did you think we were trying to send?
Micheal: Yeah, this ain't no place for a hero.
Zellos: We are just a species of human that wants to live our lives out like any other life form.
Hoffman: So, you're saying-?
Trey: It's exactly what you're thinking. We aren't looking to be liked or wanted. We are declaring our independence from your species and preserving our own by any means necessary. Even if we have to get violent.
Micheal: We are a species that is intelligent enough to defend ourselves. I think we all have held back too much and for too long as well.
Nuvia: Heh, didn't think those same tensions were against you, huh?
Hoffman: Your own species? That sounds ridiculous! You're actually agreeing to this as well?
