"Alright you ready?"
"Nope but better now than later." I sighed deeply as Jana got up from the couch, we've decided to go get her things so she can move in here with me. I refuse to let her stay at that house with her mother. "Hey look at the bright side we can go out and get Halloween costumes for tomorrow."
"Ummm Jaz we're a little too old to go trick or treating." I grabbed her by the waist as she looked out the window at the sunset lightly kissing her neck. "One no we're not....well your defiantly not," She hit me in the arm and pouted as I kissed her check making her blush. "Your only 2 months older than me."
"So what I'm still older now back to what I was saying before I was hit. Two there's a Halloween party at Jalen house." She turned around and put her arms around my neck as I pulled her into my body, "Who said I wanted to go to a Halloween Party?" I looked at her crazy, "You did when we was siting and you was worried about your dad."
"I did?"
"Yes bae you did."
"Hmmm I'll think about it let's go." We walked to the garage and I got the keys to the
green Lotus Elise. "You want to drive?" she giggled and grabbed the keys from my hand. We drove to her house and she sighed as she put the car in park. I reached over and grabbed her hand and kissed it, "You're not alone bae." She nodded and we got out and went to the door. Jana unlocked it to see lamps and furniture broken glass from vases and pictures all over the floor. She had ger hand over her mouth as we made our way to the stairs. I opened her room door to see her father unconscious with a deep gash on his forehead. Jana ran to her father trying to wake him but he wouldn't she cried her eyes out. "Bae we need to get him to a hospital." She nodded and moved aside i picked him up and we walked downstairs. "Oh so you decided to come home?" We stood infront of her mother. She was a older more mature looking Jana if she wasnt drunk i would find her attractive. "So you like my whore of a daughter?" I stood infront of Jana as if i could sheild her mother's words from her. "She's not a whore and i more than just like her. Now disrespect miss but please move your husband is hurt."
"I don't care about that bastard i hope he die." Next thing i know Jana attacks her mom, i managed to pull her off her drunk mother. "Stop your better than this. Relax my love she won't hurt you or him. Shhhh relax i got you Janatheonna." I whispered in her ear and she relaxed in my arms. Her mother got up, "Get out my house!" I walked Jana to the door, when her father came to. "Princess? "
"Daddy!?" He sat up and came to hug Jana, "Get out!" Her mother screamed making them break their embrace. "Go princess I'll be alright. " She held onto her father tighter, he looked at me. "Keep my daughter safe."
"Yes Sir."
"Take her from here." I grabbed Jana and held her as she cried and walked out the house. I sat her in the car and drove back to the house. She got out and walked into the house. I made her some ice cream and went upstairs she was laying on my bed crying. I got in the bed and pulled her to me she cried into my chest. I got up when she calmed down and she looked at me. I leaned down and kissed her then went to the bathroom. I made her bath she walked into the bathroom. Slowly i made my way to her and striped her of her clothes leaving small kisses. I picked her up and sat her in the tub and washed her up then dried her off. "Go put on some pajamas while i shower." While i was in the shower i couldn't help but think about how broken she looked. Also her dad seemed very familiar. I got out and put on some pajama pants and a tom and jerry shirt. She had on one of my big shirts. I walked towards her and kissed her softly and looked into her eyes. She moved to the middle of the bed and i followed. Wrapping her arms she pulled me down for a kiss. Flipping us over so she was on top of me. I caressed her face and she laid on my chest. "I love you." She whispered, "I love you too. And i called somw people to get your clothes and check on your dad."
"Thank you. "
"Don't now go to sleep my love."
*Somewhere in Atlanta*
"What do you have for me?"
"There's a Halloween party make sure you're there."
"No problem." I hung up the phone. I went to my computer and ordered me a tux. I guess I'm going to a Halloween party, hopefully the plan goes as planned. "You're going to wish you never left your precious home Jazmine."
