We went into the house, and I turned towards Jana. "Ok so when I was younger my parents always told me I needed to train hard because I would need to protect the chosen. That he would stop the apocalypse and save and maintain the balance between the worlds. I thought it was just a story."
"Wait but the chosen is suppose to be a guy though?" I walked into the living room then to the hall into the basement. "Exactly why this doesn't make sense to me." I opened a portal and looked at Jana, "I promise you won't get hurt I will protect you." She took my hand and we stepped through the portal. We was standing in front of my house well mansion. "Welcome back my lady."
"I keep telling you Herbert It's just Jaz." I walked through the doors and was greeted by my mother, "Hi baby! I missed you so much." I hugged my mother, but she didn't let go when I did. "Mom? Air."
"Oh sorry Jazmine. Who's this?"
"Ma this is Janatheonna my girlfriend and the chosen." She looked at Jana then back at me I nodded, a smile graced her face as she pulled Jana into a hug. "Welcome to the family Janatheonna."
"Thank you, but you can just call me Jana and you have a beautiful home Mrs. Steven."
"Thank you I decorated it myself, because Jaz here refused to help saying it wasn't her style." I laughed until Jana hit me, "Why didn't you help your mother?" I pouted , "Because It's not my style."
"Well it's going to be your style."
"Oooo mija I like this one she puts you in your place." I blushed and looked at my shoes as I dragged Jana away from my mother, before they could converse anymore about things I don't do. Went up the spiral stairs up to my side of the house. I had 5 bedrooms and 6 baths with a gym and game room on my side of the house. "Damn someone is spoiled." I laughed at her comment as I led her to my room. "Wow." I had led her over to my bed, as I got the key. "What's upstairs?"
"The Elder Library."
"Why does your room have the library connected directly to it?"
"Because I am the guardian of the chosen. I need to know a lot to be able to protect you from people and yourself."
"Myself?" I nodded as I finally found the key. "Why did you think the Chosen was a guy?"
"Because it said he in the book not she." We went up to the stairs into the library, "Wow this is huge!"
"I know right this a whole floor all by itself. But just go wait down in my room I don't like sitting up here."
"Ok." I went to go get the book, but when I came back I heard arguing. I walked down the stairs and groaned almost walking back up the stairs. "Jazmine get your ass down here and explain why this bitch is in your room."
"Don't call her a bitch Abigail she is my girlfriend and the chosen. So respect her and get out please."
"No." I groaned and put the book on my desk then walked over to the two angry girls rubbing my temples I took a deep breath. "Look Abbie please go I need to explain the Prophecy to her ok?"
"No." I growled at her, "Abigail get your ass down here now!" My mom yelled scaring the hell out of everyone, but Abbie left. I locked all the way into my room so we could have privacy. I grabbed the book and got in my bed and sat up against my pillows. "Come here."
"No who the hell was that?" I sighed , "My bitchy ass best friend, but she has her reasons though. (Bae I know you're going to read this so this is how Asante was before everything happened so don't be mad.) Come here please."
"What's her reasons for jumping down my damn throat Jazmine?" I sighed and went and sat at the edge of the bed, "Someone hurt me and she had warned me about them and I didn't listen, So now she doesn't let girls come around me easily."
"What was her name?"
"Sapphire." I went and laid back against my pillows and Jana crawled onto my bed and kissed me softly, I held her in my arms and she grabbed the book and looked at me. I started to laugh, "What's so funny?"
"You ready for story time bae?"
"Shut up!" I laughed, but grabbed the book as she laid back against me. "In the near future Satan will give birth to twin girls the younger of the two will become a great Guardian. She will guard the chosen as he travels through out the realms and stop the apocalypse and maintain the balance. If the chosen does not complete this task the world will die with everyone on it. The Guardian will love the chosen, but fall for a half mortal. The guardian will have a choice between the present and the future."
"Then how can I be the chosen if it's clear I'm the half mortal."
"I have no idea"
"I can help you with that answer." We both jumped as I hurried and bowed respectfully to the head elder Lumos. "Elder Lumos could you please grace us with your wisdom?"
"Princess please you know how I feel about formals." We laughed as we embraced in a hug, "I missed you cousin." I laughed, "You mean you miss bailing me out of trouble with the other demons. Speaking of them how are our cousins? "
"Well their names suit them." We laughed as I caught Jana move to the edge of the bed with a confused look on her face. "Oh cousin this is Janatheonna, Bae this is my favorite cousin Lumos the youngest yet most powerful elder in Hell." She held out her hand but he pulled her into a hug. "You're family don't be so formal."
"So does grey eyes run in the family?"
"No actually only me and Lu have them, but Lu you said you knew the answer?"
"Yes actually Jana is not the chosen, but will carry the chosen."
"Huh umm Lumos ummm I'm a girl how would that even work?"
"You will know when the time comes, but he will be both of yours."
"Who will be both of ours?" Lu and I looked at Jana, but instantly I looked at the floor. "Ummm." I rubbed the back of my neck avoiding eye contact with her. "Are you blushing Jazzy?"
"No!" I sighed deeply, "The chosen will be our son Jana."
