I looked at the doors of the high school as everyone else walked by me like I was crazy. Well I mean I did stop to stare some doors, but only because I finished school early already. But my parents are persistent I go to school to pass time by. In other words its punishment for all the chaos I caused. I sighed deeply time to face the consequences I walked into the school. It was a pretty big school four different building plus a theater, auditorium, two gyms, and a pool. I was walking looking around for the attendance office. When someone bumped into me she fell on top of me. "Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry! I wasn't-" she instantly started apologizing until we made eye contact. We sat a stared until I noticed she was on top of me. She obviously noticed also because she started blushing. "Um I'm Janatheonna sorry I fell on you." I just stared mesmerized by her beauty. "God she is so beautiful." She giggled and blushed more, "thank you." Now it was my turn to be embarrassed. I was about to say something when some stud walked up to us. "Why my girl in your lap my dude?" Janatheonna rolled her eyes and got off me, "I'm not your girlfriend Emerald so shut up. Plus I fell on her by accident."
"Whatever! Come on so I can walk you to class Jay." I stood up a dusted myself off, "Ummm excuse me Janatheonna I was wondering if-"
"Hey dude she mine she can’t do nothing for you so back off." I just looked at Emerald, " Janatheonna could you please show me where attendance is I'm new and don't know my way around yet." Emerald stepped to me, "Did you not hear what I said dude?"
"I’m pretty sure Jana can speak for herself." Before we could start fighting Jana took my hand, I looked at her. "Come on attendance is this way. You’re that new girl everyone was talking about in the office?"
"Umm yea I guess I am." We left Emerald yelling telling Jana to come back. “What’s her problem?"
"Uh Mrs. Mysterious what’s your name first?" I chuckled at the name she called me. "I'm sorry I'm Jazmine with a "z" Stevens"
"That’s a pretty name Jazmine with a "z" and I like the nickname you gave me." I just smiled, we walked into the attendance office. "Hey Mrs. Depp! I have the new student for you." "Thank you Theo! Can you show her where her first class is please?"
"No problem can I have her schedule?" Mrs. Depp gave Jana my schedule. "Well it looks like you’re stuck with me all day." I gave her a smirk, "I would never mind being stuck with you Mrs. Jana." She blushed, "Aww y’all would be so cute together."
"Ummm bye Mrs. Depp." Jana grabbed my hand a pulled me towards class. "Your smooth."
"I try my best." I smiled she was still holding my hand. "Jay!"
"Ughhh what Emerald?"
"So you cheating on me with this ugly nigga?"
"One we don't go out Emerald and two she not-" I stopped Jana, "I got this ma just relax. As she was saying I'm not ugly and she don't want you so chill out."
I turned around and began to walk away with Jana, but this girl tried to swing on me. I dodged it and she threw another this time I grabbed her hand and twisted its behind her back and swiped her feet out from under her. "Don't ever try that again!" I sneered I was pissed but Jana light touched my arm. I instantly was calm, I looked at her confused. "It usually takes a lot to calm me down. She did it with just one touch, "I'm sorry she tried to hurt you!"
"its fine. Come on lets go to class." How did she do that? We walked to class in silence. "Why are you so quiet?" I asked her, "I'm just trying to think why Emerald acting like that."
"Well clearly she likes you duh." I laughed a she hit my shoulder playfully. "I mean yea but, still she’s never been this bad." I stopped walking, can I be the reason why? "Are you ok?" She turned around a started walking towards me until she tripped. I caught her but once again she was in my lap. I looked into her eyes. Jana is beautiful no if ands or buts. She’s light skin she skinny but got her some curves. Her hair was light brown a curly went down her back and her lips were naturally pink. But those eyes had me captured they was green with brown flecks. "Maybe this is why."
"What is "this"?" She whispered staring into my eyes, we both leaned in I could feel her tiny breaths on my face. The bell rang we both jumped, then she got off me blushing. "We should go we have gym now." I walked after thinking about how close that was. We walked into gym I introduced myself to the coach. She gave me a guy’s gym uniform since she could figure my sexuality. I went with Jana to change. I got a locker next to hers I started changing into my gym clothes. When I took off my shirt I felt eyes on me so I looked up. My breath caught in my throat Jana was in her green bra and panties clearly Victoria secret. She was staring at my body mainly my 6-pack I cleared my throat. She turned around I could tell she was blushing. We continued getting dressed. "You ready?" I laughed at her, " I’ve been ready I was waiting for you."
"Shut up." We laughed until we walked into the gym. Every girl in there stopped what they was doing and stared. "Good luck." Jana walked off from me while I braced myself as girls started walking towards me.
I've been standing here being bombarded with questions which I answered as politely as I could. I have crowds even though its only eight girls. They was way to close. "Hey we need another player you play?"
Some dude asked me, I nodded my head and walked away from those vultures. He started to laugh, "Your welcome dude."
"Thanks man." We started a game little did they know I play ball good. By the time was almost over I had the ball and made the last layup. I didn't notice those same girls was watching me. "My name Casper dude." Said the guy who saved me earlier. "You trying to play another game?" Before I could answer him Jana came up. "No she playing with me." He put his hands up backed away laughing. I let Jana drag me to another court no one was playing on. She grabbed a ball and made a layup. I was a little shocked, "you play?"
"You ain't know?" I laughed and stole the ball from her and made a three." Naw I ain't know ma."
"You calling ma? Pa." I laughed at her and her failed attempt at a three. She pouted so I grabbed the ball. "Come here ill help." I stood behind her and put the ball in her hands the right way. "You have to hold the ball like this to get that spin." I whispered in her ear. We shot the ball together, "perfect swish." She said still with her body against mine. "Why you?" She asked I turned my head slightly. "Is that a bad thing?"
"No. I like you, but I have a lot going on."
"I understand, but I'm not going anywhere." She looked into my eyes again we leaned in, "Ummm Jana if you know what's good for you back up." Jana leaned back and looked at the girl who stepped to her. "What you talking bout Mia?"
"She mine!" I laughed, "Do I even know you? And I'm not anyone’s property. If I want to be kept I know who to call." I held Jana waist, then Mia walked off. "Ughhh I can’t stand that little girl." I held her tighter and she relaxed into my arms. "What's her problem?"
"She use to date Emerald, but she liked me and broke up with Mia."
"Ohhh well she can’t be mad you’re beautiful." She blushed.
