10: Figuring 'things' out

"Broaden your minds!" Trelawney says as she drones on about magical balls and this and that, to be honest, i'm not really paying attention.

I'm kind of just staring at...Harry.

I dont know why

If i could i would stop...

I promise, it's just he's so... good. He has nice friends, good grades, great hair.... Golden eyes.... A sharp jawline....

What is going on?!

No, No, No, No!

This is not good at all, I.... I can't!

I was just being nice to him, I wasn't supposed to start liking him!

What if Draco finds out or Dad or-

"Now, what do we have here!" Trelawney says as she walks up to Harrys table and Ron jumps awake and Harry sits up straight from looking into the glass ball in the middle of his table.

I stifle a laugh as i watch them jump up, in an attempt to look like they were actually doing something.

Harry looks at my table and gives me a suttle smile and turns back around and i feel my face go hot with a blush.

I bite my lip and look down.

Quickly realizing i looking up again, blush gone and features hard as usual.

Draco nudges me.

"What?" I whisper to him, next to me

"What were you blushing at?"

"Non of your business!"

"Touchy today are we?"

"Fuck. Off!"

"What's going on?" I say, the next day.

I have just come out of the castle and i looked everywhere for my brother, only to find him backed against a stone by Hermione.

"Nothing, Scar... Just some Mud blood who thinks she is as good as us"

"Speak for yourself!" I shout at him, shocking everyone "I'm sick of you constantly speaking for the both of us without consulting me about how i feel!"

"We will talk about this later, but right now i'm in the middle of telling Hermione who's-"

Hermione takes out her wand and points it at Draco's chest

"Hermione no, he's not worth it!" Ron says

Draco begins to breath heavily and shake with fear.

Hermione listens to Ron and takes the wand away from Dracos neck.

Draco starts to laugh, until she turns back around and punches him in the face.

I laugh along with her, Ron and Harry.

Draco turns to me, one hand over his bloody nose and he grabs my wrist with the other and drags me away.

"Draco your hurting me!" I shout as we enter the Slytherin common room

Draco plonks me down on one of the couches, next to the fire, and he sits on the other one.

His nose has stopped bleeding by now, but he still has dried blood all over his nose and hands.

He looks quite deadly, and hes angry at me.

"What were you thinking! Laughing with the other side!" Draco stands up and starts to pace in front of me.

"What? It was funny" I say, laughing

"Funny was it?"

"Yeah" I say, continuing to laugh

Draco stops in front of me and kneels down.

"Scar, you're my sister... i don't want to have to do it, but if i see you lowering your hard exterior that you have worked years to put up... i will tell him"

I scoff "You wouldn't!"

He gives me a sympathetic look and i can tell he's saying that he would.

I nod

"I love you" He says "I will do it for your own good"

"I love you too" I say in a whisper

The next morning, i walk down the stairs to the common room and i begin walking to the great hall for breakfast.

The hallways are unusually quite and i look around, confused.

I shrug it off and throw open the doors and see Draco and the others sitting on the Slytherin table.

I walk over to them, glancing at the Gryffindor table and seeing no Harry, Hermione or Ron.

I continue to sit down and eat my breakfast for a few minutes, until i decide to ask.

"Draco, where is Harry and the other two?"

"Potters, fine, probably just being dramatic somewhere" He laughs with the others.

"Yeah..."

Half the day goes by, until i walk into my second class and i see Trelawney.

Still no Harry.

"Professor.. do you know what's happened to Harry and the others?" I ask

"You've not heard?" She says "Last night, he got attacked by the grim and-"

I was off, out of the classroom in a second and i barged past a questioning Draco as i ran down the halls to Madam Pomphrey.

"You didn't tell me! You didn't tell me that Harry is injured! I cant believe you, i asked you to tell me!"

"Wait i-"

I continue running down the halls until i come to a stop in front of the doors.

I push i open the doors and i see Harry, awake talking to Hermione and he seams worried.

They both turn to me and i run over to Harry and hug him.

I whisper in his ear.

"I just got told what happened, i would have come earlier but Draco-"

"It's fine... I'm glad your here now"

After a minute we pull apart and Hermione gives us a curious glance before she shakes her head deciding not to ask

"They've captured Sirius!"

"Wait, Sirius Black? Isn't that a good thing?"

"I'll explain later" Harry says as he looks at me "Right now we've got to stop them from sucking out his soul!"
