Author's corner: This short story takes place before the SA2 events between them have started. The first thing the game's cutscene shows are them fighting for the master emerald, but I've always been curious about the exact first moment they see and get to know each other. My headcanon is that the both of them have felt something for the other since the first time they met, mostly tied to their attitude, confidence and strength. His stubbornness to honour the duty, her confidence in her freedom and skills. . What do you think about their first meeting instead? How things went?
