A reunion

Athenas P.O.V . . .

I awoke to the light of the early dawn shining upon my face while the cold nipped at my skin. I looked at my surroundings and jumped from the tree. Shippo was still asleep with yuki in his arms, whilst Kagome and Inuyasha were still under the tree. I smile a little at the cuteness of it all.

I walked ou into the surrounding woods with a goal in my mind of what I needed to do. I kept walking until I found a small clearing covered by large amounts of under brush. I picked up a stick from a nearby bush and I drew a seal that was all to familiar to me. I took out the last of my potions and began to poor what was left into the shape of the seal.

As the last drop hit the ground I made a set of hand seals and activated the potion. the circle began to spin faster and faster as electricity shot out until I finally got a clear view of what I was hoping for.

Inside the hole I could see my laboratory from back home with someone in it. "Ed!" I called out.

"Hime?" he turned around so that I could see his face. He looked terrible. "Hime-sama!" he shouted running to the portal.

But before he could reach it a pair of hands restrained him. "Oni-san I do not think that is a wise decision."

It was Al "Thank you Al! Im using all of my chakra to keep this portal open for as long as I can but even I don't know how long that will last. But while I am still able to talk to you. I need you two to do something for me." I told him.

"Anything for you hime-sama." Ed and Al said together.

"Ed I need you to get a spare sealing scroll from my room and grab the necklace from tsunade as well please. And Al I need you to gather up as many of my potions, concoctions as well as, some equipment and put it into the sealing scroll that Ed id getting." I instructed.

They ran around collecting what they could as I felt my self becoming drained from what I was doing. Right as I was getting down into my lower chakra reserves Ed called out "We have what you want hime we will send it over to you."

"On the count of three well toss our stuff at the same time. 1 . . . 2 . . . 3!" We through both of our things at the same time as the portal closed. I grabbed the small scroll from the ground and picked up the necklace.

I wrapped the leather band around my wrist and started my way back a new plan forming in my mind. I felt Emily move up my neck again and rest across my shoulder. She seemed to be staring at the scroll I was reading as well. "Its a sealing scroll. It holds things from my old lab so that I could possible go to another new world." I explained to her.

I bit my thumb a little and seamered the blood across the second seal and soon a glowing white owl with wide green eyes appeared on my other shoulder. "Athena-sama?" her eyes grew wide and she ruffled her feathers and rubbed her head up against mine.

"Yup its me Ran-mao. It has been awhile ne?"

"I thought you were dead!" she exclaimed then her eyes narrowed at my other shoulder. "What is that thing doing near you?"

"Now now no need to be hostile. This is Emily she was a friend from the last world I was in." I explained to her.

"What do you mean the last world I thought we where still in hi no kuni?" her eyes showed her confusion.

"No though I don not know exactly where we are I don know that we are no longer in our home world. This is the second world I have been to so far. And it definitely will not be the last."

"When do you plan to return home?" her quizzical eyes staring a hole into my head.

"I don not know but at the very least on my 21st birthday. That way I will be able to claim my title as clan head and know what is truly out there." I looked at the morning sky watching the clouds float on by. I remember that this was a lazy dreamers favorite pass time.

I sighed and kept walking even though I still had ran-map on my shoulder and emily around my neck now. I could feel eyes on me as I made my way back to camp but, for now, I just ignored it.

As I walked back into camp I was greeted by a comical sight, the monk had a red hand print on his face while Inuyasha was planted into the ground, and two angry females stood near them with pissed off looks on their faces. Shippo on the other hand was quietly petting Yuki with a nonchalant face as if this happened almost every morning. "Good morning guys!" I waved my hand up to show them where I was though I knew they probably already know.

"Athena!" said Kagome as she seemed to finally noticed Ran-Mao on my shoulder. "What is that?"

"Excuse me but I am not a that I am Ran-Mao." She introduced herself to the trouble, ruffling her feathers a little.

"Are you a demon?" asked the monk politely. Though his smile said something else.

"No I a not anything of the sort. I am a summoning animal from the summoning world. I am contracted to Athena-sama to come to her anytime she requests." She seemed to state this fact very proudly.

"No need to ruffle your feathers. I was just asking." The monk said as politely as possible.

"Anyway back onto the topic at hand. Are we ready to leave?" I asked noticing that all there bags were packed.

"Ah thats right." Kagome hit her fist on her palm "I have been sensing a shikon jewel near us and I wanted us to go check it out." She exclaimed and we began on our way.

Time skip . . . (Ran-Mao was unintentional in her naming because it just seemed to suit her best.)

As we walked for what seemed like for hours we suddenly got attacked. "I thought you would have given up from the last fight Sesshomaru!" Inuyasha seemed to yell out of no where.

"Quick question, umm who's Sesshomaru exactly?" I asked Kagome.

I tall man came out from behind a tree dressed in a white hakuma. Honestly he was gorgeous with long pure white hair and amber eyes, with a small blue moon on the center of his forehead. one of his arms had dog like fur wrapped around it whilst the other was a large dragon arm. "He is Inuyasas older brother, he keeps attacking us to try and get the sword that Inuyasha holds." she explained to me.

"Ok under stable now another question, why does he have a dragon arm?" I asked again.

"Oh well thats because he tried to kill me and to save me Inuyasha had to cut it off." she said not a hint off remorse in her voice.

"Well that explains that. Ran-Mao take Emily, dont eating her, and go with Kagome I'll be back."

I walked over to where they were fighting and waited for a moment, before out of no where I pulled Inuyasha by the collar away from the fight and flicked Sesshomaru in the forehead sending him flying backwards. "Stop your fighting for a moment." I asked.

Sesshomaru stood back up with a dazed expression on his face before looking at me with Inuyasha by the collar and on the ground. "What is it you want kyuubi?" I twitched at the name he gave me.

"I want to ask you a question."

"Your wasting my time." he told me before rushing at me.

"Didn't you ever stop to consider that your father left the sword in Inuyashas care for a reason? Or are you not satisfied with what he has left you?" I ask as I engage into battle with him.
