The start of friendship

I just shook my head and shrugged, it wasn't like my situation was any better. "Well it seems like I will be joining your group." I said. "And since we have some free time we will begin all of your training tomorrow." I walked into the woods and grabbed bunches of fallen twigs and dried up pieces of wood. I made a small pile of them in the center of the clearing "Do me a favor and set some sticks in a make shift arch and tie this piece of string to it." I handed them the string and as they set it up I pulled out a medium sized pot. "Since we are starting training you need food to sleep on."

"But I have ramen." Kagome pulled out a large bowl of mega sized ramen noodles.

"Oh my god! I haven't had this stuff in nearly a year!" I grabbed the bowl out of her hands and got on my knees "Thank you ramen god for this beautiful meal that you have presented before us."

I poured some water into the pot that I had gathered from the moisture in the air and set it to a boil with the rabbit meat inside. "What did you add to the water?"

I began to sprinkle some herbs that I had in my sleeve.

"Meat of course ramen may be the food of the gods but it is much better with actual meet and eggs in it. But seeing as I have no way to make that now I can only use the instant." I began to pour in the noodles.

"Aren't you suppose to wait until the water is boiling?" asked Inuyasha.

"That's more of a suggestion I like to put it in before and bring it to a boil, that cooks the noodles slower and adds flavor to them." I stirred the pot slowly making sure not to mess up any of the noodles. And as it finally got the water to boil I quickly poured it into 7 bowls and 1 small bowl of broth and handed one to everyone. "Now eat up!" I grabbed some chopsticks from my sleeves and tore into the bowl with gusto.

I looked around at everyone from the corners of my eyes to see everyone skeptic about trying it but in the end giving in to their hunger.

"Why does it taste so different than the one I gave you?" Kagome asked as she politely sipped upon hers.

"Easy I put the real stuff in like the herbs and meat, instead of the fake stuff." I told her.

As I finished up my ramen and placed my bowl on the ground and told them "I will be back by sun rise so be ready to work."

I started to walk toward the forest line and Shippo asked me "Where are you going to sleep?" He seemed hopeful.

"I was going to sleep in a tree nearby if you want to me." He nodded his head vigorously and nearly jumped into my arms. I hopped into the nearest tree and willed my ears and tails to appear. I put Shippo on my tails to create a soft pillow around him and over as well. I layed the tails on top of my body so that Emily and the newly dubbed Yuki may sleep.

   

I watched from above as everyone settled in for sleep, Inuyasha leaned against the bark of the tree I was sitting in and Kagoime leaned against him. The monk and ninja girl who's names I had heard where called Miroku and Sango. I let one of my tails drift down ward and l wrapped it around inuyasha as well as part of Kagome as I saw them shiver. I knew that our friend ship was shaky right now but I hope to gain their trust soon. I looked down and patted Shippos hair as he cuddled into my tail, and soon I let sleep over take me.
