At the ball . . .

We walked out of the carriage with Sebastian by my side and Madam red as well as Lau on the other side "So remind me why I agreed to this?" I told them.

"Because everyone would recognize Ciel but no one knows who you are, besides I always wanted a daughter." She told me laughing haughtily behind her fan afterwards.

I sweat dropped and looked down and sighing I was in a dark blue dress with a simple body lace with lace leading up into a blue collar with a Light blue jewl on it. The skirt flowed down in soft ruffles to the bottom all outlined in white pearls. My hair was down in soft girls and pinned up in places with pearl bobby pins.

I held my head up high and walked into the ball as it got into full swing and whipped out my fan and fluttered it against my face secretly scanning the room, seeing the viscount I slowly walked across the dancing area until the music started up. I was swept into a handsome young mans arms and we danced around the ballroom. He seemed to be as tired of the dance as I was, but forced himself to continue. "What is your name?" I asked as politely as I could.

"My name is Edward, Edward Sullivan." He said not caring in the slightest.

"Well my name is Athena, it is nice to meet you Edward." I replied smiling as sweetly as I could.

Soon the music stopped and I bowed to Edward and walked to the Viscount. "How do you do Viscount Druitt." I said while curtsying as prettily as I could.

"Why my little blue bird you dance so beautifully!" he grabbed my waist and leaned towards me.

I swallowed any qualms I had with this man and smiled sweetly, "Why thank you good sir but dancing so much has tired me out oh so much." I replied as if I was out of breath "Would you happen to have a place I may rest, if only for a little bit." I asked him

"Why yes I would have a room like that but only if you would allow me to accompany you." I smiled to him my most innocent smile.

"But of course my lord." We walked into a back room and kept traveling until I felt dizzy and my vision went black.

Two days later . . .

I finally came to my senses and I instantly knew something was wrong. I was in an unfamiliar house with an unfamiliar man leering at me from the side. I looked at my body and saw that I was not in the same thing I had went to sleep in. I was now dressed in a white dress with frills at the bottom and a tight middle that had criss crossing ribbons, and I was wearing a bonnet. "I am so glad you are finally awake my dear I have been waiting."

I finally looked up at the man who had spoken, sitting in a wheel chair he was wrapped in head to toe in bandages save for his mouth and hands or other important places like that.

"I am glad to have finally woken up master." I replied in the most soothing voice as I could. "But I must ask" I new I had been sold "why would you buy such an ugly thing such as myself?" I asked him in a low voice.

"Oh no no no no no no no don't think of yourself like that dear, you are the most beautiful thing I have ever see. Your skin pale, like the moonlight, hair as gold as the sun and eyes as blue as the sea. My dear you are the most perfect child I have ever seen, a lovely white rose that blooms in only the most beautiful of places, but you have thorns as well." At that point I touched my wrist and noticed that my things were gone, I was just luckily that they didn't know how to seal.

"Thank you sir but please do not praise my so much I feel embarrassed, I am only a young girl born into a family of people much more beautiful than I am." I told him.

"And do tell who is your family dear girl?" he asked eyes gleaming.

"My name is Amelia Phantomhive, the only female child of the Phantomhives." I told him trying to make a cover story "I was a sickly child so I could never leave the comfort of my mamas arms. I am but a useless child and even now to my dearest brother I am useless." I told him.

"You shall meet the others soon, now come along." His eyes still gleamed in madness but for now they were cold and calculating.
