"You promise nothing crazy will happen?" I ask my mother through the phone.

"Yes. It'll be a calm Christmas." She replies.

"Okay, but we'll only stay for the 23rd. Then we're going to spend Christmas together. Alone." I tell her.

"Ooooooh." She says through the phone.

"Stop it mom." I roll my eyes at her childish behavior.

"What? I'm just happy you two finally sucked it up and confessed your feelings. You've been in love since you were like 12." She scoffs.

I only hinted to her that me and Harry might be together because I wanted to tell my whole family. They're all in love with Harry so I know it'll end up fine.

No, but seriously. A few of my aunts are literally in love with Harry. They tried to seduce him last Christmas.

"I'm done talking to you now. Goodbye." I deadpan, hanging up.

"Was that your mum?" Harry asks, walking over to me in his fluffy robe, holding hot chocolate.

The tv is playing Love, Actually because we wanted to get in the Christmas spirit and it's one of the best movies.

"Mhm. Told her that we want to spend Christmas alone this year." I nod and he smiles, sitting down on my lap.

He kind of crushes me, but I just let him, resting my chin over his shoulder to see the movie. I wrap my arms around his stomach and my legs are kind of going numb, but that's irrelevant.

"You know... this'll be our first Christmas as a couple." Harry murmurs and I nod.

"It will be." I reply.

"We should do something special." He says.

"Like what?" I ask.

"I dunno." He shrugs, sliding off my lap to sit next to me. "Maybe.. a date?"

"Harold? Are you asking me to go on a date with you?" I smile, watching as a small blush appears on his cheeks.

"Maybe." He mumbles, scratching the back of his neck.

"Yes. I'll go on a date with you." I nod and he smiles. "But you better take me to a fancy place."

"Of course." He nods, leaning over to peck me on the lips.

"This is so weird." I whisper.

"Why? We did this all the time even before we were really dating." He says.

"I know, that's what's weird. It feels so normal." I say.

"Trust me, it's not going to be normal once our families find out."

"Hey guys! We're here!" I shout, opening the door and walking inside, Harry following behind me.

We both freeze when we see everyone standing there, staring at us. I mean everyone. My mom, her girlfriend Jessie, Natalie and her daughter, Nick, Gemma, Anne, my aunts Beth and Julie, my cousin Florence, my grandma, and even my grandpa that has dementia.

They were all standing there with smirks and their arms crossed. We all just stood there staring at each other, not saying a word.

"So?" My mom finally breaks the silence.

"I think you have something you want to tell us." Anne says, raising her eyebrows.

"Oh! I know what you guys are talking about." I smile with a nod.
