Cross' pov
I wake up to my alarm going off. I very quickly silence it in case it wakes up Dream. Speaking of Dream, I sit up and slide out of his hug. I wish I could stay here longer, just holding my Dreamy in my arms but I thought that he would be hungry when he wakes up so I was going to make food
I slowly sneak out of Dream's sleep hug and walked to the kitchen. I was about to start making pancakes when I got a text from Nightmare
nightmare: Cross do you know where my brother is? I havent seen him since yesterday
Cross: yeah, hes at my house
nightmare: WHY DIDNT YOU TELL ME ?!
Cross: it didnt 'cross' my mind, and we were asleep soooooooooo
nightmare: you and your puns. Just bring him back soon
Cross: okay Boss
I was a little annoyed at Nightmare telling me to bring Dream back, I want senpai to stay here with me but I can't fight Nightmare about it because he's much stronger than me. I put my phone on the kitchen counter and start making pancakes
08:10 (ten minutes later)
Dreams pov
I was woken up by Cross shaking my arm and saying
"Dream wake up, I made pancakes" I suddenly sit up straight when Cross says pancakes
"PANCAKES!!" I yell, I really like pancakes. I jump out of bed when I notice

.
"WHERE ARE MY CLOTHES??!!" I wasn't wearing the clothes that I had on yesterday, I was wearing a long grey tee-shirt that went down to my knees.
"your clothes looked uncomfortable to sleep in so I changed them" Cross replied as the was walking up behind me, I could feel my cheeks burn with my yellow blush.
"C-cross changed my clothes" I thought
"W-WHOA" I squealed as Cross picked me up, I used my hands to cover my face so he wouldn't see how yellow I was.
Cross' pov
When I told Dreamy I changed his clothes he looked really flustered. I put him in one of my bigger shirts and he looked adorable the way it went down to his knees. He gave a little squeal as I picked him up and flung he his hands to his face. I was a bit annoyed at this because Dreamy looks so cute when he is blushing. I started walking to the kitchen, holding Dream.
"C-CROSS PUT ME DOWN" I had already reached my kitchen table when Dream said this, so I put him down on a chair, and put a plate of pancakes in front of him.
Dream's pov
I took my hands away from my face when I heard a plate being put down in front of me. I took my hands away from my face.
"t-thanks Cross" I manage to stutter as Cross sits down next to me, with his own plate of pancakes
"you're welcome Dreamy"
"H-Huh. What did Cross just call me?!" I am sure that my entire face is bright yellow but I ignore it as I take a bite of one of the pancakes
"wow these are delicious Cross" I say taking another bite out of the pancakes
"thanks, I made them just for you" Me and Cross eat the rest of the pancakes while having a conversation
When we finish the pancakes Cross asks me if I want to change back into my clothes, I say yes and he shows me where they are and says I can change in the bathroom. When I finish changing I head back out of the bathroom and find Cross waiting outside for me. He takes the shirt out of my hands and throws it into a laundry basket. Cross puts my crown on my head and pats the top of my skull. He then leads me back into the bathroom and motions for me to sit on the edge of the bathtub I was confused but I sat down. Cross pulled out a med kit from the cabinet, turned to me and said
"hold still. I'm going to put some bandages on those marks on your face, It might sting a little at first"
"okay."
After Cross had put bandages on my face, he asked if I wanted to play a video game that he got a few days ago. I say yes and we spend about an hour completing the first few levels. When we finish the 7th level,Cross says
"ready to go home?" I nod placing my controller on the coffee table and stand up. Cross passes me my yellow hoodie, that I put on as it was raining and pulled the hood up, running to the door yelling
"LETS GOOOO" Cross followed behind me as he grabbed his car keys
When Cross opens his front door, we both sprint to his car to not get too wet in the rain. Once we are both in the car with our seat belts on, Cross turns on the car and drives off.
