Second task

Belladonna jogged with Victor along the lake, she was the only one from Hogwarts allowed to help in the boy's training. She had joined him from the beginning of his journey in the tournament. She missed going to school with all of them. They jogged in silence, Belladonna enjoyed helping Krum as he was like a big brother to her. It also helped take Draco off the girl's mind. They hadn't talked really since the kiss at the Yule Ball, which had been a few weeks now. 

"Hello, did you listen?" Krum said with a chuckle as the girl shook her head and looked at the boy.

"Sorry, I was in my own world. What was that," She said with a chuckle as they paused from there run. Belladonna taking the moment to do some stretches, she bent all the way to the ground. 

"Thanks to you, I know the clue," He chuckled as the girl start to go into the splits. He looked up and noticed that the Potter boy was looking at the girl. "Seems to me you have a looker, I can take care of this," Krum said getting more serious, Belladonna laughed as she purposefully showed her flexibility off. She took off her tank top so she was just in a sports bra and shorts. Ron and Harry looked on with wide eyes.

"Don't worry about them, we have to finish figure out the next task." She said smiling at him "Plus those two dim wits are too distracted to even know what we are talking about," this caused Krum to let out a belly laugh. 

"I have an hour to look, in that lake for something lost, and this is happening, soon," He said as Belladonna hoped up, grabbing her shirt and motioning for them to keep jogging.

"Well, an hour underwater, to find something," She said thinking as they started to jog towards Hogwarts again. "Brillant," She explained as she thought of something. 

"You're great at transfigurations right," She said as they began to go up the hill, Krum nodded listening to the girl.

"Transform your top half into something, shark, dolphin, sea monster, whatever breaths underwater really," She said with a smile, Krum chuckled.

"Dolphin, really Belladonna?" He chuckled as the headed into the courtyard, Belladonna spotted Diggory. He had been trying to talk to her since the Ball, she just didn't want anything to do with him. 

"Miss Snape," McGonagall called catching the attention of everyone "Please come with me to my office," She said Belladonna and Krum shared a look as Belladonna followed the professor into the school.

Draco was waiting at the docks of the second task for Belladonna, he had come to terms with the fact that he really cared about her. He knew he wanted to be with her, and he couldn't bear to see her with someone else. He waited until he saw Blaise, Crabbe, and Goyle coming to the dock. 

"Have any of you seen Bell?" Draco asked trying to look around them to see if she was coming.

" I saw her this morning, she was going to train with Krum," Goyle said 

"Come on Draco, she probably went with him already," Blaise said leading Draco to a boat. Draco had a bad feeling as they road out to the second task. They got off the boats and Draco stood close to the water. Dumbledore had gone on about how something was taken from the champions of importance, and instantly Draco's heart sank. He knew that Belladonna wasn't in the crowd, so she was taken from someone. He eagerly watches the water waiting for one of them to resurface with the girl. First Diggory came up with Cho, Draco scoffed as people helped them up. His eyes watching the water as Victor came out of the water with Hermione. Instantly, Draco felt jealous at the fact Potter was saving his girl. He had known since third year Potter had a thing for the girl, however she never noticed. Draco didn't know if she even knew he did, but now he must. Finally, after what felt like hours, the girl resurfaced with a younger girl by her side.

Belladonna came to once she hit the surface, instantly she was freezing cold still being in only shorts and a sports bra. She noticed the young girl next to her, and she helped her swim to the dock. Belladonna helped the little girl up, in an instant she was swiftly pulled onto the dock by a strong pair of hands. Severus got the girl up and instantly put a towel around her. Once he pulled her up he went to go talk to Dumbledore. The girl's lips were blue and chattering, she felt like she couldn't get warm. In an instant, she felt a warm jacket wrapped around her. She looked up to see Draco with a worried look on his face. 

"Belladonna, your freezing, you're blue!" He said in a low growl "I could kill Potter," He said in anger, Belladonna lightly chuckled. This caused her to start to shiver.

"Heee diddd ssaavveee mmmeee Ddraaayy," She said broken up, Draco's heart melted when the girl called him Dray. He held the girl tight, helping her stand up. Severus came standing in front of the girl, placing his hands on the girl's cheeks. She was burning up and it worried him, his facial expressions showed slight worry in them. Draco looked at the professor and instantly felt his stomach sink.  

"Please get her to the hospital wing, she's burning up," Snape said looking from his niece to Draco "Quickly, Mr. Malfoy," Severus said sternly, Belladonna leaned on Draco as he leads her onto a boat. 

" I didn't get to tell Harry thank you," She studdered leaning on Draco as they sit down in the boat.

"Potter has done enough I think," Draco muttered as the girl rested her head on Draco's chest. Shivers running up and down her spine. 

"I missed being around you," She almost whispered closing her eyes, Draco felt the girl's body slowly start to give out. 

"Hey hey stay awake," He said slightly shaking her awake, she groaned slightly as her teeth chattered together, "I missed you too," He whispered under his breath, the girl let out a chuckle slightly. Finally, the boats got to the shore. Draco swiftly picked the girl up and headed to Madam Pomfrey. He quickly went into the hospital wing setting the girl down on the bed. Belladonna had closed her eyes, as her body felt like an ice cube.

"Oh dear," Madam Pomfrey said quickly went to work. She gave the girl a potion and tucked the girl in with a few blankets. Draco watched with worry as Belladonna laid there, she looked paler than normal. She still had a slight blue to her once pink lips. 

"Mr.Mafloy please go eat something, I will have Professor Snape let you know when you can visit tonight," Draco nodded looking at the girl one more time before heading out of the wing. Harry however was headed to the hospital wing to get examined as well, however, he was more worried about Belladonna. He was shocked to see her down there for him. He wanted to see her once he resurfaced but she has rushed away so quickly. He saw the girl laying in a bed, eyes closed. He felt terrible as Madam Pomfrey checked him over, once she said he was okay to go he went to her bedside.

"I am so sorry Bells," He muttered looking at the girl. Belladonna slightly smiled. 

"Sorry," She said weakly "I should thank you for saving me," She said her eyes slightly opening. Harry shook his head chuckling. 

"You are something else Bells," He said looking at her one last time "I'll always save you," He almost whispered as he headed out of the wing. 

Later that night after dinner, Draco went straight to the hospital wing. Sitting right by the girl's bedside. He moved a piece of her hair out of her face, he placed a hand on her cheek. 

"Will you stay with me," Belladonna mumbled at Draco, a small smile played on this lips. 

"Of course," Draco said with a smile.
