The Yule ball was next weekend and Belladonna had yet to find a dress. Belladonna quickly got dressed in a pair of ripped black jeans and a white jumper. She threw on her black boots and headed to the dining hall. She walked to the Slytherin table, grabbing an apple and saying hello to the boys.

"Good Morning boys," She said with a smile and took a bite of the apple. Goyle and Crabbe said their good mornings to her and Draco looked down at his breakfast. He was angry she was going to the ball with a Hufflepuff.

"Draco, good morning?" Belladonna said again looking at him.

"Whatever," He mumbled not looking at the girl, she huffed crossing her arms.

"What's your problem," She asked sternly getting angry by his actions. Goyle and Crabbe shared a look between them as Draco still wouldn't look at her.

"My problem is you going to the ball with a guy you don't even know," Draco spoke lowly looking at the girl. His grey eyes were dark, as he scanned over the girl's face. She got angry, her jaw clenched.

"If you wanted a say in who I went to the ball with maybe you should have asked me yourself," She spat at him as she swiftly turned around and headed to her uncle's office. Draco instantly regretted the way he acted towards Belladonna, he sighed and headed to the common room. Belladonna walked swiftly through the halls until she got to Severus's office. Severus looked up as the girl walked in swiftly shutting the door.  He narrowed his eyes at the girl but decided not to ask about her entrance. He stood up and motioned to a teacup sitting on his desk.

"As you still need a dress for the Yule Ball," He paused smiling at the girl "Mrs. Malfoy sent this port key and offer to take you today," Severus said looking at the girl. Belladonna was looking at her uncle.

"Why?" She asked she didn't understand why Mrs. Malfoy would wanna take her dress shopping. Severus chuckled at the girl shaking his head.

"Well, this is something mother's usually would help their daughters with. As your mother is gone and Mrs. Malfoy doesn't have a daughter. We both thought it would be a good idea." He said, Belladonna, looked her uncle up and down. She had no problem with Mrs. Malfoy even if her son was being a prick at the moment. Belladonna smiled at her uncle.

"That was kind of you both to think of that, what time do I need to be back?" She asked stepping towards the desk.

"Be here by the start of dinner, the port key will bring you back to my office." He said, Belladonna, nodded, and took the teacup in her hands. In an instant, she was standing in Malfoy manor, Mrs. Malfoy quickly stood up smiling.

"I am so glad you could make it dear," She said a smile across her face "Please sit, we will have tea before we go to get you a dress," Belladonna smiled and sat down across from the women.

"Thank you so much for this Mrs. Malfoy, I don't know the last time I spent time with," Belladonna took a sharp breath in, thinking about how she wished this could be her mother " a motherly figure," She finished

"Please dear call me Narcissa," She said with a smile, placing her hand on top of Belladonna's "I am glad I could be here, I was very good friends with your mother. It's the least I could do," She said pouring her some tea. Belladonna brought the warm tea up to her lips.

"Also Draco talks about you all the time, I wanted to get to know you more," Belladonna's eyes widened at what she said. She tried to hold back a smirk as she took a sip of tea "Well anyways, who are you going to the ball with?" Narcissa asked taking a sip of her tea. Belladonna set her cup down.

"Well Cedric Diggory," She said as Narcissa nodded looking at the girl "But to be honest, I wanted to go with someone else,"  She said looking at Narcissa.

"Well, why didn't you?" She asked setting her tea on the table.

"He asked someone else before I got the chance," Belladonna grumbled "He said he didn't even wanna go, and then asked someone else," Narcissa knew right away she was talking about Draco, and she tried to hide the smile on her face. She had tried to talk Draco into asking the girl, but he didn't want to ruin their friendship. Narcissa had a smirk playing on her lips.

"Well," She said standing up "Let get something to make him wish he took you," Belladonna stood with a smile on her face, linking arms with miss Malfoy. The girls smiled heading into the flow network. They went through many shops, Mrs. Malfoy picking out skirts, dresses, and shoes for Belladonna. Belladonna was having a splendid time, laughing, and smiling with Narcissa. Finally, they went into a shop and saw a beautiful black dress on a manikin. Belladonna leaned in towards Narcissa.

"That black one, do you think it's too much?" She said as Narcissa turned towards it and smiled.

"Try it on," She almost demanded getting the shopkeeper. Belladonna went and tried it on it fit perfectly on the girl. She stepped out and Narcissa clapped her hands together.

"I think every boy will regret not asking you, even my son," She laughed causing Belladonna to blush and look in the mirror. "She getting this one, we need a pair of black heels as well as dress robes," Narcissa said to the shopkeeper. Belladonna looked at herself in the mirror, smiling at the dress. Narcissa came behind her.

"I suggest having your hair up but low," She said lightly taking her hair in her hands "As well as a red lip, the will really kill the boys," She smiled looking at Belladonna, who was still looking into the mirror.

"Were you, good friends, with my mom," She asked not taking her eyes off the mirror, Narcissa smiled.

"I was, she was in my sister's year, they were also the best of friends. We all caused so much trouble in Slytherin," She laughed at the memories of them all, she looked towards Belladonna and she met her eyes.

"She would be so proud of you, I know. I am so sorry you never got to met her, she was just as wonderful as you," Narcissa smiled placing her hand lightly on the girl's cheek. The shopkeeper came over asking her a question, Belladonna went into the dressing room to change back. She came out and handed the dress to be bagged up.

"Anytime you need me or even need to get away, write to me and I'll send a port key right away," She smiled taking the teacup out of her purse. "Your things will be in your room, along with Draco's dress robes," Narcissa smiled holding out the teacup to Belladonna.

"Thank you, for everything today," She said with a smile

"Of course darling, now run along before Severus gives me an ear full," She chuckled, Belladonna took the teacup and swiftly was back into her uncle's office. She walked out and headed to her room. She grabbed Draco's dress robes and headed to the great hall. She walked down the hall, heels clicking against the stone. She entered the great hall and headed to her table.

"Draco, this is from your mother," She said short, handing him the package. He looked at her confused.

"Why do you have it then?" He questioned and instantly regretted how it sounded. Belladonna's narrowed her eyes at him, her hip popping out slightly.

"Well, we went shopping today, Malfoy," She said sternly swiftly turning on her heels and heading out of the great hall. Draco knew he messed up this morning, and now it was just ten times worse than before. He hated fighting with her. Belladonna walked out of the dining room and headed towards the library. She sat at a table, and let out a sigh.

"You don't sound too pleased," Cedric said coming around the corner, Belladonna scoffed at him.

"I am fine, just came to," She stopped looking around the room, Cedric laughed

"Well, we don't have to talk about anything," He said sitting next to her "I am hiding too," Belladonna let out a dry laugh

"Why did you even ask me to the Yule ball anyway," She asked looking him up and down, he smiled at her.

" Why not, or better yet why did you say yes," He asked with a smile, Belladonna stopped, she didn't really know why she did but she looked him up and down.

"I owed you one, but I am wondering if this is about something else," She said giving him a look. For some reason, she didn't trust his intentions. She shook her head and headed to her dorm.
