"I'm...gonna go" She stammered, pulling a smile and exiting with her bag around her shoulder. Sooyun dropped Jenos hand, and leant back with her arms crossed over.

"You're not looking at my hair" Sooyun commented, a bit of attitude in her voice

"What are you on about" Jeno flashed his eyes back at the girl.

"You look at my green streak in my hair whenever you're nervous" She narrowed her eyes

"I didn't know I did that" Jeno actually did know he had a habit of glancing at Sooyun's green streak whenever he got nervous with her. Side effects of no wanting to look her right in the eye.

Sooyun let out a sharp exhale, pouring herself a glass of water and downing it.

"Has all that rejection made you change your mind?" Sooyun asked nonchalantly, bringing the cup down from her lips

"No" His gaze followed her movements

"What does Yuri have that I don't? You've had the hots for me for the past 4 years but some menace to society comes and changes your perspective." Her tone was forever nonchalant

"I'm just trying to win the deal, the deal that you suggested. We've had this conversation before" He stood up, taking his coat with him.  He left her with one frustrated glance and attempted to leave quietly, but her voice stopped him

"Your eyes never lie, Jeno"

He stopped, a chuckle leaving his lips

"Don't act as if you can see through them"

"What happened to the covers of your books?" Ten asked, having sneaked from the Evils side to greet her in the Royals. He wanted to escort her to her next class after not being able to have a proper conversation with her in several days to make up for it.

"Ripped it" She deadpanned, her grip tightening around her books

"Did the Barbies do that?"

She chuckled at the nickname they would always give to the protagonist in the Royals "You know I don't care about them"

"But it hurts, doesn't it" Ten knew her better than anyone else would, and he could see the strength she possessed fighting against them slowly beginning to fade.

"Words don't hurt" She swallowed, but thought to divert the conversation the moment she got vulnerable "Do you know what happened between Mark and Jeno?"

"Ah...that. Long story short, Mark turned out to be the person Jeno didn't expect" Ten shrugged, pausing his footsteps when he located the two boys they were just talking about. Jeno and Mark stopped opposite each other, no words spoken but the atmosphere was tense.

"Jeno really just has secret after another doesn't he" She mumbled. First his scar, now this

"You could say that. But Marks a good person, things just got a bit messy between them" He shook his head.

"Obviously one of them was being a dick to provoke things getting messy" She lifted her shoulders "Let's just go"

Ten agreed, and followed her towards the two in an attempt to ignore them and go on their merry day. But when their conversation tuned in, her fingers began to get itchy
